Rookies Report Ready to Make an Impact | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive

[Music] Tuesday marked the true beginning of the 2025 Ravens season as the first Ravens reported for training camp. The rookies arrived back at the castle as they began preparations for their first NFL seasons. This class has been touted as one that could come in and have an immediate impact. Coaches and teammates have already been impressed by first round pick safety Malachi Starks. And with our Darius Washington suffering an offseason injury, the Ravens will need Starks to step into a large role even sooner. Coaches have been impressed with his leadership among the rookie class and his preparation. Another new tool for defensive coordinator Zack Our to utilize his outside linebacker Mike Green, who teammate Adolf Ooway called the truth. Green’s twitchy speed has already flashed. I’m excited about the young guys, man. We’re throwing a lot at them right now. uh they’re picking it up well. They’re learning from their mistakes. I just appreciate the way that they coming in to work. So, um we’re fired up about them and you know, they got a long ways to go, but I like where we’re at right now with them. And on the other side of the ball, after the draft, general manager Eric Dcasta talked about wide receiver Leonte Wester’s ability at returner. A role the Ravens are hoping Wester can make an immediate impact at. And after being drafted in the sixth round by the Ravens, kicker Tyler Loop also has a big opportunity this training camp. The rookies have already taken the field with the vets at mandatory mini camp, but they’ll have a few extra days to prepare now before training camp gets underway. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens quarterback room will report Thursday with the rest of the veterans returning the following Tuesday. We’ll have all your coverage here as the 2025 season begins.
