Which Steeler Will BREAKOUT in 2025? #Steelers #SteelersNews #SteelersNation #SteelersFootball

These are four Steelers that will need to break out in 2025. Joey Porter Jr., he had a rocky 2024, but still has great potential. He couldn’t ask for two better teachers than Darius Slay and Jaylen Ramsay to pair with. If JPJ can clean up the penalties, the Steelers have a serious lockown corner. How about Calvin Austin? He was truly the Steelers number two wide receiver last year, and for now, it doesn’t seem like a lot will change. He had a good season with limited targets and proved he’s a big playmaker. He’s garnered the trust of the Steelers staff and is looking for a big 2025 in a contract year. Pton Wilson. Pton will see a much bigger role in 2025 alongside Patrick Queen and is on the verge of letting the NFL world know who he really is. Pton Wilson is destined for a breakout season. Brick Jones. Finally, the Steelers will move Brick to his natural spot at left tackle. He’s been removed from there for two whole seasons, and it might take more patience for Brick. However, give him time to get comfortable. him fully healthy and the mental relief of being on his natural spot.

  1. It angers me to no end that they kept a SLUG like Dan Moore at LT while forcing Broderick into RT. You trade draft picks and move up to get Broderick Jones and you force him to learn RT when you knew he was a really raw prospect when you drafted him? It would have been different if Moore was an All Pro or top 10 LT. He was DEAD LAST IN THE LEAGUE AT LT!!! That is a new level of stupidity!!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  2. Why did JPJ have a rocky 2024? He got some penalties because he's plays the top receivers each week. his penalties didn't lose us games, he played full games vs AJ Brown, MClauren etc. and he got some penalties, so what. I could see if he was holding against mediocre competition. I'd rather see him with some penalties than getting burnt… JPJ may improve this year, but let's stop with thinking everyone has to be perfect or they are underachieving…

  3. SteelTwins- Good commentary, as always.

No disagreement, here–especially with Joey Porter, Jr. because with Jalen Ramsey & Darius Slay, Jr. at the helm, it's gonna be interesting to see what all else happens.

I'd throw Aaron Rodgers on the list as an "honorable mention" if you were to ask me my opinion, or, have me make a list of my own such as this one, for example.

  4. Zach Frazier was a top 5 center according to many his rookie season now he’s got some experience under his belt he could really move the needle for this offensive line I’d say Zach Frazier or Kaleb Johnson but I wouldn’t be shocked is healthy fautanu takes the crown

  5. The JPJ hate will not be tolerated, a handful of penalties from a guy facing WR1 every week is not a big deal. He has played good if not great for us since becoming a steeler and the only thing people ever say is that he gets flagged. Ide rather him have issues getting flagged than getting burnt of getting turned around and leaving guys wide open. Instead he is always at their hip to the point that be occasionally gets too handsy before the ball arrives
