2025-26 Season Opener & Home Opener Announced 4 comments I don’t know why they can’t consistently use the Away @ Home format, but this is: NYI @ PIT on Thursday October 9, 2025 7:00PM for our first game (away) WAS @ NYI on Saturday October 11, 2025 7:00PM for our first home game. Maybe it’s just too early in the morning but it took me a few more seconds to figure it out than I would have liked. Reportedly no more 7:30pm weekend games and more weekend day games as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if the season opener is only on ESPN+. Macklin Celebrini’s debut last year was that I was confused and seeing Sidney figured Isles on road for season opener and Crapitals home opener. Living in the ‘Burgh this is perfect for me.
