The 247Sports scouting team unveiled its updated Top247 rankings for the 2026 recruiting class Wednesday. North Carolina quarterback commit Travis Burgess and Georgia tight end commit Lincoln Keyes headlined eight newcomers to the Top247.

Burgess began the offseason ranked outside the top 25 quarterbacks in the 247Sports positional rankings but skyrocketed to No. 7 after a standout camp circuit. The four-star passer from Loganville (Ga.) Grayson is now the highest-ranked recruit to commit to the Tar Heels under Bill Belichick.

Georgia boasts the nation’s top tight end haul for the 2026 recruiting class, highlighted by three Top247 tight ends, including a newcomer in Keyes. Commitments to Tennessee, Miami, Oregon, Iowa State and Rutgers are among the most players to crack the Top247 following Wednesday’s update.
