  1. First player to get a pitch clock violation. First player to get the abs challenge strikeout.

  2. Took them long enough to introduce this. Padres could have used this since the beginning of the season

  3. Manny was the first to get hit with the pitch clock violation and the first struck out by ABS. Trailblazer!

  4. 17 seconds from challenge signal to definitive call. Not bad, but hopefully it’ll come down to a few seconds.

  5. I knew right away that was an awful call and that was getting challenged. I’ve literaly seen enough go live for 2026 plz

  6. Even tho it was a bad call, Joe Davis’ reaction definitely prompted cal and Tarik to challenge.

  7. Who the eff is fighting against this? Players must like it but maybe it’s a players association contact lever. The umps? They are last on the list.

  8. I hate the challenge system so much. They have something they are using to check the pitch on appeal, so just use it all the time. Why make people ask for it? Why limit it? Watch the Real Sports episode with Eric Byrnes. It takes minimally more time and it looks exactly the same as if the ump is calling it. The challenge system is some monkey shit half measure.

  9. Our AAA team affiliated to the Rangers has nights where there is no home plate umpire calling ball’s and strikes – it’s totally ABS. And it’s remarkably awesome.
But why limit the number of challenges? I guess some baseball purists will disagree, but ABS can be a really good thing
