What is your competto? Man, there’s not too many stars. I mean, it’s pretty cool, man. I mean, I think, you know, at the end of the day, it’s about what the fans did, right? The fans voted. They they went above and beyond to uh, you know, get me voted for this. And, um, you know, I think that makes it special. What are your thoughts on the ABS Dance? I mean, it’s it’s I mean, it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s Did you ever think you’d be the first to bring in an All-Star game? No, but I mean I mean I was the first in spring training, so yeah, I mean I kind of figured I’ll probably be the first. Um should have swung at the pitch actually. I knew it was a strike instantly. And Riley, man, he’s he’s he’s got a perfect score last time. He’s I mean he’s he’s still rolling. I don’t think I want to want to play against him when the ABS is on, man. How cool has it been to not only be at All-Star Week with so many good teammates, but also just how fun has this season been playing with some of those guys? Man, it’s awesome, man. I mean, you you obviously, you know, with the team we have, having five guys, um, you know, coming represent the team. I mean, that’s that means that means a lot, you know. I mean, it shows you how well we’ve been playing as a group, um, how we’re united and the type of team that we have. So, to come here and share that moment with them and be a part of that, I think was pretty cool. What’s the plan for the second half when Go win 60 games again. Go win. Go win. Go play. Go get hot and play some good baseball. You feel like you guys were getting hot. I think. Yeah. I mean, we, you know, we played our worst spots so far. So, um, you know, only the best is is yet to come. What do you take a break? You’ve had viewers where you have. How much better is it, you know, coming to an all-star game? And what is Well, I mean, it’s it’s honestly it’s special, right? I mean, it’s it’s it’s a unique experience and, you know, you never want to take them for granted. you know, as many as you come to or even if it’s your first. Um, you know, you just got to take it, take it all in, enjoy it all, and, um, you know, it’s been a beautiful experience. Was it your kind of Did you envision that your career with them would go to this whenever you would become the guy who’s going to multiple? No, I did not. I did not. I mean, I didn’t even imagine being in the big leagues as a kid. Um, I dreamed about it. I didn’t imagine it. So, to to let alone um get to the big leagues, have multiple allstars, have a lot of hits in the big leagues, I mean, it’s it’s it’s surreal. I know the rivalry is what it is between you guys and the Dodgers, but seeing Roberts come out and pull for a shot and the crowd reaction. Listen, man. I think uh you’re talking about legends of the game, you know? I mean, I think the game’s above competition when you go out there. I mean, you look at these guys, what they’ve done, 30,000 KS. Um you know, you had two future Hall of Famers right there coming off that field, especially Freddy. You know, this is this is this was his home at one point for a very long time. So, um you know, I thought that was pretty cool. Thank you. Hey, the S team does make it up. I mean, do you have any opinion on it? Do you have any thoughts? I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I don’t like I mean, I I don’t like taking the human element out of the game, right? Um, you know, I know it’s it’s it sucks. They make they make a lot of mistakes, but, you know, it’s human. It’s human error. So, I think uh you know, there there’s better options that we can go with before we we take that that that step. Um, that’s a drastic that’s a that’s a drastic change. Um, and it’s a big one, but I think there’s other options and avenues that you could you can you can get to before before taking that. I mean, I don’t know. Just I wouldn’t like it, honestly. I’m old school, though. What was that? What was that bat? Was that your SDF? No. No, it wasn’t. It was just They made me They made me two bats. Yeah, they made me two bats. Yeah, it was pretty sick, though. Did you wear your SDF glove out there? No, I can’t use that glove. You can’t? No, I can.
