I mean, he’s averaging 21 points. probably one of the best summer league players so far, but he has it going and he’s looking really, really good coming into really, really good coaches because there’s a lot of expectations being set on you already and they’re doing a good job so far of handling their own Jackson. That’s beautiful. That’s the opens up minutes and rolls for some young players. Jaylen Wells being one of them who’s had it nice. He’s going to have a bright future coming up this next season in his second year. Has the opportunity to have a bigger second year and Ellie Joseph slams it with a right hand for Atlanta. John Morant to be able to stay on the floor. I mean, he’s just came down with some unfortunate injuries. So did Jiren Jackson as well as Ed too as well. I mean, they just been having some unfortunate breaks and haven’t been on the court. It’s, you know, up to the eyes of the beholder of which one you consider the uh the better player going forward as McVey with a late shot clock three with the Hawks. They have the established star and now they have some young pieces around and then a free agent addition and he Alexander Walker is Flagler. People think the East might be a little light compared to the West, but I’m telling you, the East maybe not proven teams at this point, but these with potential to be dangerous. 7 seconds separate the two clocks. They’re 4-0 and we’ll see where they are with their point differential. You get like thrown together as a roster and it can change throughout the event. But when there’s something like that at stake, it matters. It does. You know, you don’t have a lot of time to create like you said the chemistry, but take me through the first day of summer league practice. Is there like an introduction going to three flag or what is that first day like? Is there just formal introductions? Do people meet up beforehand and then you start going like how does that work? Look, they roll the ball ball out. Look, practices at this time, you show up. You can see some of that exemplified right now for summer league. They’re 3 and 0, but they’re all on a string defensively. Kobe Bucking helping on the weak side. I mean, look, this is why they’re 3 and0. I’m going to keep saying it over and over because of that. Yeah, the Memphis Grizzlies, they put out their injuries and as of July 2nd, Jiren Jackson underwent a successful procedure to repair his turf toe injury in his right foot. For coach Zalo, you just saw him there. He’s coaching the summer league team and have to get ready for his first full season as the Grizzlies head coach. Jackson big powerful step right of the basket on the right-handed push shot and Stevens gets the rebound. There comes McVey. Nobody caught up with McVey and pushing. They’re doing a great job of pushing the tempo offensively. Remember for the Hawks point differential does matter if they want to spot in the semis. McVey perfect on the fade and second on the team and scoring behind McVey that pressure by half court. Fleming forces a steal. Hinton gives it back. Two men basketball for the Grizzlies. Spencer off the bit. Three off and Atlanta leads most of the way. Sees it evaporate in the fourth.
