For those in favor of selling but remaining competitive, these are the guys/teams worth targeting. I've especially been banging the drum to get Caissie or Alcántara from the Cubs.
Also intrigued by Freeland from the Dodgers or Jung from the Tigers.
This would involve trading guys like Ward/Anderson/Moncada and maaaaybe Detmers, but if you can get near-MLB-ready guys to fill positions of need, you're not setting yourself too far back.

This team is built to sell.

Ward, Anderson, Jansen and any others on one year deals should be considered for trade. Detmers and anybody else should be considered non starters in talks unless they are willing to pay a lot
A decent guy to look at is the Mets Brett Batty.
He was once a top prospect, and hasn’t quite put it all together, but he plays 2nd/3rd and is around league average offensively.
The Met’s infield is crowded, he’s out of options, but has a couple years of control left, and isn’t to expensive. Mark Vientos is another example of this on the Mets. They need OF help, and relief help.
