We are officially back from the All-Star break and two teams that I feel like had interesting first halves of the season. You know, for the Royals, their season so far has been kind of defined by great pitching, but they just can’t hit the damn ball. They just can’t score runs. That has been the story of the Royals season. Whereas the Marlins have been just kind of a wild card of a team. You know, yes, at some spots they look like but look, man, if you’ve bet $100 in every Marlins game so far this season, you’re up over $1,000. This has been one of those teams that has been a money maker as a dog this season. I will say for the Marlins, I like taking the Marlins this season when they’re on the road and when you’re getting in much more plus money than this. I mean, in this spot, you can get plus 110. Not not really a spot where I want to take the Marlins. I like taking the Marlins when they’re a sneaky road dog. You’re catching like plus 150, plus 160. That’s the sweet spot for the Marlins in my opinion. not this plus 110 with Sandy Alcantara on the mound. Um I mean one thing to talk about for the Marlins this season has just been how awful Sandy Alcantara has been this season. I mean I think he’s he has to be the worst if not one of the worst starting pitchers. Uh when it comes to just a guy who has had the amount of starts that he has had. I mean he’s had a couple good starts but far and few between. I mean most of his starts have been just absolute blow up terrible starts. He’s 49 with a 722 RA. What’s his What’s his ERA in his last five? Let me see if I can find that real quick. Okay, never mind. This website doesn’t have it. But on the other hand, you got Seth Lugo on the mound for the Royals. Sub3 RA. Um, it’s been one of their more consistent guys. Look, I’m going to be on the Royals in this game. The Royals are a team that I’ve been fading and not backing. I do have a bet with Ron Romanelli who’s going to have the better record at the end of the season, the Royals or the Twins. Unfortunately, I’m on the Royals. He’s on the Twins. I think it’s pretty much tied right now. I don’t love my bet with have having the Royals. I don’t I I tell Ron that. I wish I would have picked another team. Um but in this spot, I I like the Royals, man. I think Seth Lugo is a far better option than San Die. And when it comes to the Marlins, like I said, I I want the Marlins when I’m getting plus 150 or more. I don’t want this plus 110 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I need I need some more cash in that. So, I’m going to take the Royals and I’m going to pay up for it. I think they’re the better team. team.
