At this point I believe they’re protecting Campy from MLB pitching to use whatever value they can get out of him. “He’s got a new approach, he’s killing it in AAA.” Something along those lines.
Or maybe they just hate him and he doesn’t do the work he’s supposed to?
Having to go from living in San Diego back to El Paso every other month, you would think, would motivate a dude to hit a ball in San Diego.
Can’t wait for Campy to go .500 in AAA only to get called up again and get no hits in 2025
