Hope everyone’s doing well. We got the Angels headed into Philadelphia to play the Phillies. We are back, baby. We are back from the All-Star break. Let’s see how these teams finish up the second half of the season here. You know, we saw the Angels. I will say, man, a pretty successful first half of the season from the Angels. I thought this was going to be one of the worst teams in the league, but they’re coming into this one 47 and 49, and they’ve been really good in the underdog role this season. If you bet $100 on the Angels this season, you would be up, 146. Sorry. Yeah, if you bet $100 on every Angels game this season, you would be up over $1,000. Whereas the Phillies, if you bet $100 on every Phillies game this season, you would be down a little bit over $200. So, just kind of paint paint paint you a picture there, man. Um, this Angels team wasn’t a team that a lot of people expected to be good. Um, in my opinion, they’ve been pretty undervalued by oddsmakers, and for those reasons, if you’ve been betting on them, you’ve been cashing in. And, you know, they went into All-Star break picking up a series win against the Diamondbacks, which I thought was pretty impressive as well. So, shout out the Phillies, man. Or not the Phillies, the Angels. They are a team I will be looking or I will be keeping my eye on for the rest of the season. Whereas the, you know, the Phillies, um, I mean, 55 and 41, you know, in my opinion, one of the best teams in the league when it comes to an offensive perspective, when it comes to a pitching perspective, um, they’re loaded. This Philly team seems loaded, but, you know, there’s been some question marks. I would say most of their question marks have been on the road. At home, they are really solid, 30 and 16 straight up at home. Um, but, you know, we saw them the last two series before All-Star break. They lost the series 2 to1 against the Giants and then they lost the series 2 to1 against the Padres’s. So didn’t really roll into the All-Star break in their best form. When it comes to the pitching matchup, looks like we got Soraniano on the mound for the Angels and then Lazardo on the mound for the Phillies. You know, Lazardo started off hot, but he really came down to earth. And I’m gonna take the Angels, guys. And for the reasons being is because um I really just haven’t liked how Lazardo has looked. Um, you know, there’s just he’s he he has had great starts, don’t get me wrong, but he also has gotten blown up. He’s gone and blown up. And for a team like the Angels who has a lot of power in that lineup, who hits the home run ball at a really high rate, I think they could get after Jesus Lazardo. And it just really comes down to chasing value in this game. I mean, I don’t want to lay minus 200 with the Phillies. I mean, that’s just way too juicy. The run line, you’re not getting any value at all. So, why not we take an Angels team getting a bunch of plus money? I’m I’m I’m finding plus 80. 180. We could get plus 180 with Angels. Why not we take that team, get a bunch of plus money, and um yeah, bet on a team that’s been cashing people in underdog tickets game after game this season. That’s what I’m going to be on. So, I’m just chasing value here. If the Phillies won this game, would I be surprised? No, I wouldn’t be surprised. But in baseball, you got to attack plus money. You got to roll with underdogs or you will get outjiced by the end of the season. So, I think this is a good plus money opportunity. Give me the Angels. I appreciate you guys watching this, man.
