This franchise is so cooked. Even without the curse, we got the 1-2 death punch combo of Joe Dumars and Troy fucking Weaver. I’d sacrifice every mother fucker on the roster for an injury free year of Trey and Herb.

He’ll likely miss the first couple of weeks but it shouldn’t put a big dent into his season. No silver lining but will say the one thing here is that this isn’t an injury that he can’t remain in shape with so he shouldn’t have an extended ramp up period like we see with other injuries. If it were a leg that’d be different.
It sucks because of the optics and the trade. And the history of injuries. But to be frank, it doesn’t mean much when it comes to the team’s results. The hope it doesn’t set Queen back too much in this important rookie year of his.

It’s a constant cycle of tiny bits of hope getting curb stomped by fucked up circumstances.

At this point Gayle needs to start giving us reparations for this oppressive relationship
