Really confused why we keep up with Brooks. Dude ran into one (and almost another) but has otherwise been ass. Is this really the best we can do for a DH spot??
No clue why Brooks has a way longer leash than guys like Campusano or Ornelas
Hope Cease doesn’t disappoint today
Don’t love this lineup tbh. Sheets, Merrill, and Crone being all close just gives the opposing manage a lane for lefties.
First time this year that Maldonado isn’t catching for Cease right? Perhaps a sign that they are finally getting ready to move on from him.

Arraez still not a good 2-hitter. Doesn’t matter how many AB’s he gets in the spot he’s still not gonna lay off pitches long enough for Tatis to steal, he might randomly decide to bunt with no outs and a steal threat on first. His only tool is wasted because he refuses to allow runners to put themselves in scoring position
Finally get to see them in person this year. I always buy a ticket for all three games.
