Nice W!
Fly the gulls!
Shoutouts to Colin Rea, giving up 1 ER against the hottest team in baseball? That’ll do, pig.
Seiya “my plans are full” Suzuki continues to prove why he should have been selected an all-star starter.
Imagine not making Seiya an all-star lol
Poor Dansby got robbed of two home runs
#WE HAVE THE POWER AND THE SPEED TO BE THE BEST IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE! GET FUCKED BOSTON, SWEEP INCOMING!
Seiya clutch again. PCA the absolute best CF in baseball again. Pressure on MIL to win at Chavez Ravine. Call me Catholic cuz this feels like a Good Friday!
Dodgers win, and the Cubs division lead grows to two games.
Brewers win, and the Cubs have the best record in the NL.
I love how we got the double play in the 9th after botching a couple earlier.
Seems it’s a whole lot easier to win 10 in a row when you don’t have to play the Cubs
That’s a big win baby, Dodgers actually going to turn up today? Either way we just keep doing our thing.
so we end the day either increasing the lead in the division, or as the #1 seed in the NL
WHERE ARE MY GULLS
Hey Boston, that’s a nice streak you got there.
Would be a shame if something happened to it…
Oh wait, the Cubs did.
Go Cubs go.
Red Sox 9-1 in their last 10!
FLY THE W 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Really huge win. Set the tone for the second half, mess up the Red Sox winning streak, and do it on a day when the Brewers play in LA
Great game, 2nd half continue rolling
Arguably the 3 best relievers on the team; non of them threw 10 pitches today.

Hell yeah. Ended that 10 game win streak. This has been a fun season. LFG!
Cubs win in front of 41,000 people on a picture perfect day for a Friday 1:20 start. Nobody has it better than us today.
Remember last Friday night when the season was over?
Why no Suzuki interview? He deserves it tenfold!
Rea was damn good…a little wild with the walks but to only allow one in against the hottest team in baseball coming into the ASG…yeah that’ll do.
And Seiya proving once AGAIN why he’s the most underrated player in baseball.
Now all we need is the Dodgers (🤢) to actually play like a billion bucks and sweep the Poo Crew.
Bye Boston’s 10 game win streak. Go Dodgers……ugh, I feel dirty..
Wrigley > Fenway
I cannot believe I’m saying this, but go Dodgers. Give us some breathing room against Milwaukee.
Has anyone considered whether or not we have BOTH the power and the speed?
2 things. #1 – remember all the rumors about how the Cubs were going to trade Suzuki because there wasn’t a place for him? #2 – 3.80, 2.23, 3.22, 0.69, 3.14, 1.53. That is the ERAs of the Cubs pitchers in today’s game. That is such a happy line item to see. Furthermore, Keller’s ERA is pretty much tied to 3 bad outings, Pressly’s numbers would be even better if it weren’t for the 9 run appearance that cost him the closer’s job (he would have a 1.28 ERA right now without that game), Thielbar has been pretty steady. Then the ROI we got for Pommeranz (best deal of the year). Finally, bullpen being anchored by a guy who was just a throw in piece in the Andrew Chafin trade. Crazy how Palencia was nothing special and Deichmann was supposed to be the big piece in that trade.
Rooting for the Dodgers tonight!
