Coming in is Taylor and he makes the sliding grab. Cruz will have to go back to the bag at third. Nice play by the veteran Michael A. Taylor to keep the Pirates off the board. Michael Taylor. Boy, did he close a lot of ground to come get this the way towards right. Tucker into a slide and he makes the catch. Did it in left in the All-Star game and he does it in right today. Two outs here in the second. Yeah, you know that wall could be trouble over there and so had to slide for this one anyways and just good defense. Yep, that ball is scorched. Abrams to his right. He’s going to rob his old organization right there. Why not a two hopper over to first fly ball to center and then good plays Franny by both middle infield. Yeah, hard hit ball. Nice throw from right field by Fernando and they throw out Bell. Do they know who they’re dealing with here? Fernando with the one hop strike to Manny Machado and Bell slides right into the tag. La Pontana with the closing speed. What a catch in center field to rob Ker Fa. Another payoff. Popped him up behind home plate. Contras got a late break on it and slides and caught it. Unbelievable play by William Contras. He’s able to hang on and slide up against the netting and make the play. He’s got tremendous power when he connects. And there goes the fly ball to center. And Alec Thomas has got it. Another spectacular grab by Alec Thomas in center field for the Diamondbacks. Flying into the wall. It’s a nofly zone out there.
