Um, the Miami Dolphins make history. Um, they do the right thing. Shout out to the Dolphins. They sign Jonah on a fully guaranteed contract. Many in the NFL believe that the league was trying to collude to not allow this to happen, but the Dolphins do it anyway. Good for them. Um, and this is historical because this is setting the president for the future. Okay, the Dolphins have never done this um in this type of era with the salary cap the way it’s currently designed. Now, they have done it. So again, big ups to the Miami Dolphins, you know, making sure that they secure our guy. Now, it might sound like I’m walking away like right now sometimes is because I’m working um up and down the kitchen right now. Um so y’all bear with me if I start fading in and out. But we also going to have a huge Q&A session u where you ask anything and I will give you the answer. But um before we even get to that part of it, uh this is huge for the Dolphins. Why? Because we needed our rookie in camp, I mean this is go I mean when you really think about it, a lot is riding on Jonah. A lot is riding on Jonah, y’all. We need this kid to lead the way. He is supposed to be quote unquote the missing piece. We want the O line fixed. Well, guess what? We invested in it. Now it has to pay dividends. We have a history of investing in our old line and it not paying dividends. Now it has to pay dividends. And Jonah has to be the big part of that. Now it’s not only Jonah, it’s also Patrick Paul. Those are the two guys right there that can make or break our season. And what’s even more important, they’re both on the same side of the defensive line. and being on the same side of the defensive I mean offensive line, excuse me. Being on the same side, we need that camaraderie right now in Ricky Kemp. Those guys got to get their reps right. So, big ups to the front office on a draft pick spending money cuz remember the checkbook is closed but he’s a draft pick. The only ones the checkbook is open for is a draft pick. But do you notice how everybody now, cuz remember TD been telling y’all for a while now, the checkbook’s been closed. And I’m trying to figure out how they’re going to handle this Minka and Zach Zealer situation. And how do you notice how everybody’s tune is changing now? Oh, will they be able to sign Zealer? What about Ma? What are they going to do? Oh, now y’all get what I’ve been saying all this time. What will the Dolphins do? Are they gonna invest in those guys even though everything they’ve done to this point shows you they’re not trying to invest in any veterans from this year? And and don’t get me wrong, I believe they have to get it done and they’re they’re going to be forced to get something done. But man oh man, do not be surprised if Miami goes even bolder and say Zealer, hey man, you might be playing a hold out because we’re not paying you. You never know. And that’s what it’s going to come down to. Y’all tell me what y’all think about that in the comment section. Are the Dolphins going to give Zealer the money he deserves? Cuz it’s no question he deserves his money, but are the Dolphins going to be the ones that pay him? That’s what it comes down to. That’s what the real question is. There might have been collusion where the NFL was trying to say all the owners, do not give these second round picks fully guaranteed contracts. We are opening up a door that we do not want to keep seeing open. And you know what happened? Three or four of them got it done. You know why them teams got it done? Cuz they ain’t got time to be playing games. Miami is one of those teams that didn’t have time to play those games. They were going to hold out as long as they could to see if they can get some wiggle room and now bam, give them is fully guaranteed. We’re not like everybody else. We need to actually try to win this year. We don’t have the luxury of playing these contract games on a draft pick. He’s a part of the future. But look at him. They ain’t got no problem doing it to Zealer. And Ma, I’m still trying to Ain’t nobody heard from Ma Fitzpatrick. He ain’t even got a Happy Dolphins picture. Or maybe let’s bring that up to 10 10 wins. We’re 10 and seven, but we missed the playoffs because of the tiebreaker in the division. and something happened that bombed us at the end. That would that that would be devastation because they might feel like, “Okay, man. You know, this was good. We got rid of Ramsay, Holland, and all those guys, and we were still the same. We we we might be headed in the right direction. Let’s keep building on the Oh my gosh. Please. Please, Lord. No. I get what you’re saying cuz we we might be at risk of that. For real. For real. I’m trying to tell y’all this has nothing to do with clicks. Well, give me a second so my back can show better. Yeah, it shows better now. All right. It had nothing to do with clicks. I truly honestly believe that. I believe that the Bills the last few seasons have been a little overrated, but the division’s been so easy. So, it elevated them to make them look more dominant than they really were. And I feel like the division is more competitive for us to beat up on each other in return giving us a better chance. That’s all I was saying. The division is better to the point where it’ll beat up on each other to give all of us a better chance. And that’s that’s how I feel about it. That’s truly how I feel about it. All right. Um, what made you have a change of heart, TD? This from CB83. First off, um, what change of heart did I have? So, I want you to be descriptive on that. Number one, right? Uh, number two, he says, “Seems like you think the Dolphins will be competitive, be competitive now despite still having to under center.” Um, I said that we have a chance to win the playoffs, but the only route that we have to get there is through the division. And because of my theory on our division now, that’s why I’m not saying we going to be a better team to beat the better teams. I even in that video, if you go back, I said I’m not saying we going to be able to beat the Chiefs, the Bengals, the Ravens, none of them. But what I’m telling you is we got a chance to win the division. And I also pleaded to you in that video to say beggars can’t be choosers anymore. I’m not worried about trying to win a Super Bowl anymore. I guess all y’all have defeated me. I just want to make it to the playoffs even if we lose in the first round now because you’ve defeated me. That should you You know what? Y’all have been right. You know, you people that I’ve been telling Yeah. You people I’ve been telling, why is your goal just to make the playoffs, just to get bounced? My goal is a Super Bowl. You know how I’ve been yelling at for years now? I don’t want to hear nothing about make no playoffs. I want the Super Bowl. That was my sentiments. It’s changed. You You’ve defeated me. You win. You’re right. Beggars can’t be choosers. I see no iota of Super Bowl in our future. So, hey man, let’s just make the playoffs. I get it. I get it. I’m defeated now. CB says, “So, the division is worse, which in turn means the Dolphins can win it again.” Okay, y’all pay attention, okay? Because y’all are m y’all not y’all not comprehending what I’m telling you. The division is not worse. The division as a whole is better, which is going to make Buffalo worse, giving us a better chance. You remember when we went 11 and six and Buffalo caught up and went 11- six and we lost the division. You remember that if the Patriots were better, they might have not been 11 and six. If the Patriots could just get one more win versus Buffalo, we would have won the division. You see now, do you see what I’m saying here? That’s what I’m trying to get across to you all. Our division is actually a little tougher, but it makes it weaker for the division title. It’s like NFC West last year. NFC West, Seahawks, Arizona, 49ers, um what’s the other team over there? And another team is just running a blank right now. Y’all help me in the chat. That’s what I’m talking about. Do you see what they went through last year? Do you see what that division went through last year? Everybody beating up on each other so everybody had a chance at the end with eight wins trying to get nine just to get in the playoffs. That’s what I’m talking. Yeah, the Rams. That’s what I’m talking about. The Rams were the worst team in the division. And they were in last place at one point last year in the middle of the season and won the division at the end. They like like if I’m not mistaken, they were like in last place with like four weeks or five weeks left and won the division because nobody was three and 10, nobody was four and nine. Everybody was six and six, six and I mean seven and five and you see and and everything so because they kept beating up on each other. Making it anybody’s division even in the last two weeks they didn’t know it was anybody’s division. One game can get you in. That’s what I’m trying to articulate to you all. So, the better the Jets and the better the Patriots get, the better chance it is for them to get an occasional win against Buffalo, which brings their win total down a little. Now, if they still just dominant and they killing everybody, it’s a different story. But that’s where I’m trying to tell y’all. That’s the only thing Buffalo’s been benefiting for from for five years now. Maybe six. That’s it. They really haven’t been as special as people think. They’ve only benefited from a weak division, going five and one, um, going four and two every year in a division. You get that to three and two, they wouldn’t be five time division champs in a row or whatever it is. That’s what I’m trying to tell y’all. So, there’s no change of heart with Miami and all of that. I still got my I mean I got major concerns about this team, but when I look at the Jets, I they did not make improvements this off seasonason and we were already better than them last year. And if anything, they got worse. I still think Aaron Rogers better than Fields. And the Patriots got better, but they still ain’t on our level. Hopefully, Lord Jesus, hopefully. and Buffalo. If those two teams can can can put some pressure on Buffalo and get a win or something, then Buffalo fighting for their life all the way to the end. That is a hot take for sure. Yeah, I mean it is a hot take, but it’s not far-fetched if you think of the if theoretically like I keep on referencing the year that we win 11 and six and they win 11 and six. If if the Patriots could have just been a better team and got one more win, we would have won a division hands down. We would have had a home game in Miami. And who knows, I don’t know what could have No, let me stop that. But still, we could have won a division. That’s what we’re hoping for, that scenario. And obviously, we got to take care of our own business by getting wins against Buffalo. we got to take care of our own. But that that just and and like to me it’s just not a special team. They just got this guy named Josh Allen and everything else, man. And like I said in the video, Cook is is is solid, but everything else they ain’t got nothing like jumping out the gym. They don’t like like they don’t have like And here’s how you got to look at it. And y’all tell me if I’m wrong. They got in outside of Josh Allen, is there a player on their team that’s better than Tyreek Hill? Is there a player on their on their offense that’s better than um Jaylen Wadd? And people will debate Cook A Chain right now, right? Or even if you give it Cook, but that’s it. We got we man we man. No man, we straight and we just got to do our thing this year. So, I know people getting on me, coming after me. Um, but I truly do feel that way about Buffalo. And I’m not trying to take away from Buffalo’s dominance in the division. They’ve been overall a great team, but I truly feel like that’s just simply because of Josh Allen and a weak division. Josh Allen in a weak division has blessed them for years. So this narrative, oh TD’s just trying to get clicks and all this and that. Man, I have never cared for clicks. I’ve never I’ve never cared for the clicks. I’m too blessed to clear care about the clicks. You think? And that’s the funny thing. You think these clicks is what make me money? It’s ridiculous. Um, they coming after you, TD. The only concern obviously Buffalo still the king of the mountain, but we’ll see about that this year. The only real threat is the improvement of the Patriots. Because I’m telling y’all now, whether y’all want to acknowledge it or not, the Patriots will have a top five defense this year. Oh, it’s gonna be tough. It’s gonna be tough. Vel ain’t going to play that. Vel going to have that defense getting up and at everybody. It’s going to be tough. You got to max protect and catch him over the top. That’s all. If you can hold off the pass rush, you can catch him over the top. But he gonna clog that middle. He gonna send pressure and he gonna let you test them guys deep. But can you get it off in time? He’s he see the thing about Vable defenses. Vel wants you to get rid of the See, Bravo’s one of the only coaches in the NFL like Vrabel Flores and all of them, they want you to get rid of the ball quick. everybody else, you know, they just don’t want to get beat deep. But Vable, Flores, guys like that. Oh, I want you to dink it dunk. I want you to hurry up and have a quick release. I want you to get that ball out quick cuz we we on top of everything in the first 12 yards. Now, if you get that extra time cuz y’all O line just picked it up very well, hey, you might stick us over the top here and there. Yeah, we could be got, but you better get it off. You better have enough time to get it off. That’s what Rabbel’s offense is. That’s what it is. Go back and watch them them them matchups with Tennessee Miami. They give you that quas too high look. One safety, you know, um not deep, but mid to deep. The other safety about 10 yards back looked like a a linebacker with death. As soon as you hike that ball, that that that safety stays right there. He ain’t backpedaling and it’s really single high, giving you exactly what you want. But hey, you going to give it time to develop down the field cuz everything coming your way. That’s what Vable is. That’s what the defense is. Ain’t all all that quick stuff. Go ahead, throw it. Bubble screen. Negative one. Bubble screen. Oh, you got two yards. quick slam tackle right away or jarred out because the defender right there. And the scariest thing about that defense is he brought guys that know what he already want. He brought in some of them guys that play exactly that style of football is their expertise. And technically he’s going to do it even more because he got two corners that can lock down. He got two corners that can compete out there on the edge. So he going to take all the risk in the world and have you fumbling, false starting because you worrying about the how it’s coming. That’s what Vel and that’s my only concern with the Patriots. I ain’t worried about that offense. Now that offense sneak up and they’re top 15 and they I don’t care if they ran 15. If the Patriots offense is ranked 15th, middle of the pack, they win 10 plus games. You’re gonna see a lot of Sundays when you’re looking at that scoreboard. You’re going to see a whole bunch of 1613s and 97 going into the fourth quarter. They not going to be giving up points like that. I mean, and the Patriots, man, they doing it right. I’m telling you, it’s how they building it. It’s how they building it. Yeah, I believe the Patriots will have a top five defense this year. I really do. But we’ll see because they might be 32nd and OTD was wrong. Who knows? Time will tell. But that personnel on paper is sure sure nice. It definitely is nice. That’s for sure. All right. We’ve literally been at least second place and now all of a sudden get used to being last. Stop. Just stop. Y’all just sad. Y’all know the Patriots about to pass y’all. You the one that need to get used to that basement. You the one need to get used to it. But anyway, um if you got any questions, like I said, put it in the chat. Miami going undefeated. Um, see now you got me wanting to look at the schedule and see is that realistic even if I’m delusionally optimistic. Let me take a look. If I’m delusionally optimistic, can Miami start seven and one? You might be right because I think I said six in one or something like that before. Here we go. Here’s a schedule. All right. Delusionally optimistic. We beat the coach. We beat the Patriots. Okay. We lose to the Bills in your scenario cuz we’re in Buffalo. I get that. Uh we beat the Jets. We beat the Carolina. Chargers. Tough. But if I’m going to be delusional, we beat them. Uh that’s tough. I don’t know about that. But we beat the Browns. We beat Atlanta. Okay. I can see seven and one if you beat the Chargers. I can see seven and one. Optimistic, like excessively optimistic. I could see seven and one if we beat the Chargers. I could see that. Now, just regular optimism, six and two. fair five and three cuz the Dolphins, the Patriots might be better. Um, Colts on the road, Browns, Shadur first game starting, who knows? I don’t know. But if I’m being pessimistic, oh, we going to lose to one of these teams, whether it’s the Colts or the Patriots, um, or the Jets. Um, yeah. So, yeah. I mean, that’s still a good look though. Five and three. I don’t see us being any worse than five and three. Un. Now, if we four and four, we’re a train wreck. If we’re four and four, we’re a train wreck. We’re more of a train wreck than you would think, cuz this is a weak beginning of the of the year. Five and three should be the worst. If you four and four, train wreck season. Five and three should be it at the worst. But even if you keep that optimistic hat on with a um with a six- one, then you got the Ravens. You’re six and two. Buffalo again six and three. Washington six and four. Saints seven-4. Jets eight-4. Steelers in the cold in December, 8-5, Bengals 8-6, Bucks 8-7, Patriots 9 and seven. That’s still optimistic. Now, if I’m being extremely excessively optimistic, I still don’t know if it works out for us. We start out um seven- one like you said, extremely ridiculously optimistic. Seven-1 because we beat the Chargers, seven-2 with the Ravens, 7-3 with Buffalo, seven-4 Washington, 8 and4 Saints, nine and four Jets, nine and five Pittsburgh cold weather. That’s the only reason. Nine and six Bengals. Bucks. I’mma give us 10. This is excessively optimistic. 10 and and and six. And um Patriots 11 and six. Extremely ridiculously optimistic. 11 and six. I know I’m being maybe delusional. 11 and six. And that’s what scares me on the season. That’s the only thing that scares me on the season. I’m being a homer and just overly optimistic for no reason. 11 and six. And I don’t like that. I never I never am overly optimistic like that. And I keep telling y’all in a real world, here’s here in in in history, how things work and how I’m seeing the team. And again, when I go to training camp, it might change, but me being real, what do I think? My early prediction before camp, because it might change after camp when I see everything, but before camp, my true prediction, and y’all ain’t going to like this, uh, the first two weeks on the road versus the Colts and then divisional game versus the Patriots. We’re gonna drop one. We gonna drop one for whatever reason. I have no clue, but we gonna drop one on the road versus the Colts. Divisional rival Patriots don’t know what to expect from the Patriots, how they’re going to approach the game. The Colts should win, but on the road week one, rust in the armor trying to figure out how we going to approach this new newness of the team. I feel like we’re going to drop one early. Then we gonna lose to Buffalo and be one and two. We gonna beat the Jets at home and be two and two. beat Carolina on the road three and two. Chargers gonna come to Miami and wax us. They gonna walk us down slowly and methodically. Hard fought game 2320 or something like that. Chargers win. Um that makes us um um three and three. That makes us three and three. We beat the Browns 4 and three. We beat Atlanta on the road. It’s tough, but we will win. Five and three. Is that five and three? I gave it um Let me make sure. Three and three. Four and three. Five and three. Yep. We lose to the Ravens. Five and four. We lose to the Bills. Five and five. We lose to the Commanders overseas. So, we don’t get the home field advantage. Um, that’s five and six. We beat the Saints coming fresh off the buy after resting from the trip. Six and six. We beat the Jets again on the road because it’s not too crazy cold. I don’t think it’s December 7th. It’ll cool down, but I’m We’ll beat them. We’ll beat them. Um, I think that’s seven and six. if I’m not mistaken. And then we got four games left. Seven and six. We go on the road. Pitch cold weather seven and seven. Bengals at home. 7-8. Bucks at home. Seven to nine. Patriots at home in New England. January 4th. Cold weather and they understand their system and everything. They work their kinks out. What does it matter? We already out the playoffs, but we could lose that. Seven and 10. That could easily be seven and 10. Anything outside of that will require optimism for me. And maybe I could be optimistic about that last Patriots game, the Bucks game, but that’s about it. Those are like the only two game or that early stretch where I said um we’re gonna drop one optimism about one that so if I’m going to add optimism we’re 10 and seven but who knows we could look up and be 13 and four because we shocking everybody. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. But I I do know this. The Dolphins don’t have a cakewalk schedule. Remember last year when I told you count the games that you really got to take serious? And we got to like six and I said there’s 11 games that technically we should win because we are more superior then. Y’all remember that last year? And it never works out that way, but you count them though. These are serious teams. We counted like six this year with the with the Patriots going to be better in my opinion. That’s two. The Bills twice, that’s four. And I’m still leaving the Jets out. The Chargers make five. The Ravens, the Commanders make seven. Pittsburgh going on a Super Bowl run trying to. And don’t forget what Pittsburgh did this offseason. You know, don’t don’t make that mistake with a much better coach. By the way, the Bucks, the Bengals, that’s 10 teams. And I didn’t talk about the Jets. And I always usually include the divisional foes sometimes. Like last year, I didn’t include the Patriots at all. And I included the Jets. But who knows if if Aaron Glenn sparks the Jets and they actually solid. I’m telling you now, we McDaniel got a coach. He got a coach this year, boy. You know, I’m a Bills fan for life. You know, the team fans can’t beat. Uh, we’ve beat y’all and we will beat you this year. Let’s not be in denial here. TD acting like Tua about to have his best year. His body shot. Um, his body shot by now. I’m done making this about Tua. This is Tua’s year. Good or bad, this his year. We don’t have to beat the dead horse. Everybody, even the people who told us we were crazy for years and we don’t know ball and he’s great and all this and that, they don’t even bark anymore cuz they ain’t got no more bite. So, at the end of the day, we our circumstance is our circumstance. So, sit back, watch it, and let’s see what happens. And maybe he comes out of the smoke. that dude or maybe his destiny ends up being what the trajectory says it’s going to be and he fizzles out. I don’t know. But all what I do know is this is it because after this ain’t no Chub, ain’t no Tyreek. All these one-year deals that you had are most of them unrestricted free agents. We’re like, like here’s the deal. This is what a lot of y’all don’t realize, too. Even if the Miami Dolphins won 13 games and won a playoff game this year, most of these guys unrestricted free agents next year. Like, majority of the team is not even under contract. It It’s going to be a remake anyway. And don’t let us do that well because some of them going to have greater value than we gave them. And they all gonna go get their bag. Don’t let some of them be better. The the the the the writing’s on the wall, man. Let me let me check something real quick. A lot of these guys, they gonna be unrestricted free agents or telling the team, “Hey man, you gonna have to give me some more money.” For example, Brewer, our center next year, if he has a good year this year, he want more money. He want more money. You gonna have to give me some more cash. Let me take a look at another one. Let me see here. Um, his name here. There we go. Let me look at his contract. See what it what it’s doing. Cuz I know he going to be done with guaranteed money. Austin Jackson. Let’s see what is his. Same thing. Same thing. And matter of fact, that’s that’s crazy. His salary goes up $11 million next year with a $16 million cap hit Dolphin with three voidable years in 27 28 29 like they’ve been adjusting his contract on the low and I didn’t even know all this time and now it’s coming due. So they gonna have to give Austin Jackson an extension if they gonna keep him probably next off seasonason because the agent probably not going to try to hear it next off seasonason. Everybody do some money or or read up contract. So this is it. This is it. The the the Dua got got to be that guy this year. He got to be that guy. And I’m not talking about more of the same. I’m talking about 2023 with a little bit more oomph on it in the big moments. See, I don’t care nothing about you coming out having 4,400 yards and having the stats. Oh, yeah. I’m great stats again. No, you got to show in the big moments. And the crazy thing about this schedule, it’s gonna be a lot of big moments, but it’s also gonna be a lot of opportunities to embarrass yourself. See, the thing that comes with, you know how I just talked to y’all about every year we count some of the ones it’s going to be tough games and we get to like six. Beautiful thing is it’s only six and you only got six games to look bad in. See, that’s what’s been keeping our quarterback alive, too, is the fact that as long as he looked good in the mother 11 and six, bad and six, it’s still okay. But now you got a potential 10 games to look bad in potentially. And you can’t get to seven and eight of those. Uh-uh. You can’t get to the normal six. You probably allowed to have three stinkers. And when I say stinkers, they may not even be all out stinkers. Like three bad games where you didn’t contribute or you cost. You can’t have four, five, six. You can’t Um, how do you spell his name? Let me see. Here it is. Zack Zeer. Look at his contract real quick. Why he needs your money now. See, and here’s the crazy thing. Zack is in there trying to get his money now, even though he’s under contract this year and next year. So he’s even trying to get more even earlier, especially when he see these guys getting 30 million and he’s playing better than some of them and he’s only getting what 10 a year 10 million25,000250,000. Zack Zeler gets paid 10,250,000 a year when he’s playing technically on the level of Christian Wilkins. Make it 30. His agent know what time it is. My guy’s 30 years old right now. I got to restructure this now because that one more injury. Oh, he old, you know, and he ain’t going to get no more. He got to live with See, Zealer can’t live this contract out because if he plays this contract out, he’ll be 32 years old out there looking for real money. It ain’t there at 32. Not unless you’re all time great. It ain’t going to be there at 32. You gonna get that Cle Campbell money six or seven less than you’re doing now when you’re Listen, what people don’t realize is Zealer’s worth 25. He just ain’t a big name, former first rounder or nothing like that. That’s why we respect that his play is worth at least 25 when he was matching Christian Wilkins and in most cases better than Christian Wilkins while he was in Miami for sure. So you benefit he wasn’t a former first round pick and all of that stuff. You benefit from him by getting him a team friendly deal. But now he’s technically proving it when he was making peanuts and he’s halfway in the deal you gave him and balling out still. Now I want the real bag. Now I want the real bag. I’m 30. I can’t play these games. I got to get an hour or never. That’s what Miami dealing with. and all these people. Zealer, he deserves it. Pay him. Y’all tripping. See, I’m not an advocate, by the way, of paying him. I’ve been told y’all trade them now and get an asset. And I get it. It It’ll hurt the team, but again, my philosophy, I’m already passed this year. I’m I’m in the how we gonna be better in the future because again all this talk that I’m talking about winning the division I still don’t see us beating the Chiefs, the Bengals, the Ravens. So all that don’t matter anyway. But since y’all going down this road, pay him then. But but handcuff the future. pay him big bucks while he 31, 32, 33 years old. Man, I’m dumping that off to somebody else right now while I can get an asset for it. But most of y’all don’t see it that way. See, that’s why Miami put themselves in a weird bad position to make tough decisions this year. Ramsay tough decision. Johnu really tough decision. We made our put ourselves in a position to have to sacrifice talent to survive. And I told y’all this, they just came out with the trends. The Miami Dolphins have been trending down the last three years. And what did I tell y’all three years ago? This is the best roster that we’re going to have for five years to come. It’s going to get worse and worse because we put too much money on the stars and trading them and bringing them in. Didn’t I tell y’all that three years ago? This if you can’t do it now, you ain’t ever doing it. Three years ago, I told you if you don’t do it now with this roster, you ain’t ever doing it. This is the best roster we have had in forever and going to have for years to come. I told y’all that. I said the following year is still going to be similar and good, but the few pieces that you don’t even notice are going to be gone. That was the Connor Williams and all of them. The Robert Hunts. I told y’all this. And then eventually Christian Wilkins. Then I said, “Hey, next year it’s going to be the same thing. We going to be declining. We getting rid of some of these guys.” I tried to tell you. Then Ramsay’s gone. Javon Holland is gone. Told y’all this. I thought Chub would be gone, too. But he took that old itty bitty deal. He took that itty bitty money because ain’t nobody going to trade for him anyway. Coming fresh off of that kind of injury. He’s in the mode of, well, at least I got a home here. I’mma take the itty bitty money, hope I come back, ball, and go and free go out there and get a new contract. Go get a fresh new deal cuz we ain’t keeping Trump after this year. And if we do, it’s because it’s on the cheap because he’d be washed in. if we do, cuz if he has any value after this season, we ain’t going to be able to afford to keep him. Don’t forget, even though he took that pay cut, his base salary, he still restructured his contract. Next year, they got this man at a $31.2 million cap hit. make it make sense. Next year he is a $31.2 million um cap hit. You think they keep it at? You think they keep it at? Let me go even further. Right? Even if they restructure him next year and converted his almost 20 million into bonus with only two years left on the contract, he would still be a Let me do the math. All right. Um 11 + 10 21. He would still be a 21.5 million cap hit instead of 31 next year, but the following year would be 42. They ain’t doing none of that. They not doing none of that. Please understand that they can give his guaranteed money next year into a signing bonus and make his base salary 1 million. But since there’s only two years left on the deal, they have to split the 19 million between the two years. So he still would be on the hook for about 9 million in the um signing proration and the restructure proration. You would still be like a $21 million cap hit next year. You would save 10 million, but you’re technically pushing it over into 27. But you’ll probably try to be creative and add even more voidable years to bring that down. He gone. He gone. This is it. And truth be told, he’s still a $12 million cap hit this year because of a previous restructure. They just brought his base salary down to 1.2 2 million, but he got a signing proration of 4.5 million this year against the cap and a restructure proration of 6.4 million this year. So all that chub, you know, reduced his salary 1.25 million. Yeah, but he already had a restructure that was divided out. We got a $12 million cap hit this year for Chub regardless. regardless with 36 million in dead cap. So you wouldn’t gonna cut them cuz you ain’t getting nothing. You be cutting them for free and still having to pay. 36 million in dead cap. So next year you gone. You’re gone. So get ready for Chub Tyreek Zealer to be gone. You look up if they don’t give Ma his money him too. That’s our reality. That’s our reality. Let me see something here. Y’all give me a second. The wife calling. Just want to make sure she all right. So that’s just a bad contract. We stuck with it. But I’m trading Zealer. And I trade for Minka Fitzpatrick only to trade him again, only to try to trade him again or use him as a trade piece at the trade deadline and let the league know we rebuilding. But before I trade Minka right before the trade deadline, I trade Tyreek. See, I’m getting rid of Zea right now because his most value teams that can use a good defensive tackle. A lot of them there are. I’m waiting till about week seven or eight and trading Tyreek. Now again, see this is the problem though. Here’s the tough part about the Dolphins with that schedule early being favorable going five and three or something right before the trade deadline will screw us cuz we be like, “Man, there’s still hope.” That’s what happened with Kas Campbell. We were We were going to trade Kas last year, I think, for like a third or something. We a nice pick. shockingly what we were going to get from my from what I heard the Ravens and oh we still in the playoffs so we’re not going to do it and I told y’all last year man you wasting your time man and Ka’s being a good Samaritan well you know um I’m here to win and I’m I’m I’m I’m you know I’m I want to come on man and here messed up part we waited to the absolute last minute cuz Mike McDaniel and Chris Greer, they were willing to cut KAS Campbell when if we were out of contention and allow him to be picked up by a contending team after the deadline. That was the deal. We’re not going to trade you because we feel like we’re about to do something special when we can make the playoffs. Okay, I’m all in for that. Then when things got rough, uh, should we cut them? The deadline’s coming. Should we cut them? No. As long as we in it, we don’t want to cut them. We don’t want to cut him. Here’s that last week. No matter how many times the gate swings open, they just ride that fence. don’t tell you what they think one way or another really of what they think is going to happen. Yeah, I might be a Dolphin fan that talk trash to the Jets and the Buffalo, which makes me wrong all the time, but as a Dolphins fan, I’m gonna talk trash to them anyway and be wrong. I’m proud to be wrong about me talking trash um with the Dolphins against them cuz they’re rivals. But when I talk about my team and the Dolphins, I don’t try to be wrong. I know I’mma be wrong sometimes when I talk about Buffalo and the Jets because I can’t stand them. I want them to fail. When I talk about Dolphins, I give you my honest tape. I give you my real honest tape. And some of you may not like it, but it’s the truth. And if you go back and pull the receipts, how many times have I truly been wrong about the Miami Dolphins? Yeah, if I’m talking about them versus the Bills, Jets, and Patriots, maybe. But just dolphin stuff. Tell me what Tell me what I’ve been wrong about. And And I’m not saying you ain’t going you won’t pull well you were wrong about this or wrong about that. But acknowledge you might be able to count three things out of a hundred. We talk about maybe three to five things out of a hundred things that I I predicted. I know this team because I study this team. I study his behaviors. I study it it’s um from from the general manager’s behaviors, how he operates. I study the coach. I study the quarterback. I study the players, the stars. I study the non-stars. I don’t study all the bench players and all that. I I don’t TD name one UDF way we signed. Don’t I don’t waste my time. Why I’m going to waste my time doing streams and giving you information about players that have a 1 in500 chance of making a team. Y’all do realize it’s like one UDFA makes a team per three teams or something like that. and they never even play typically. No, I don’t waste my time. But I know our players, the main ones that play. I know our quarterback. I know our stars in and out. I know our salary cap situation. I know our general manager’s tendencies, his strengths, weaknesses. owner. I know all of that and I put it all together and I create theories about what’s going to happen with this team. But you know why I tend to get it right more than wrong? Because I don’t I don’t just only know the Miami Dolphins. See, I might know 97% of what there is to know about the Dolphins. But I also know about 60% of what I need to know about the Bills. I can’t name everybody on their team, but I know their scheme. I know how they play us. I know their contracts situation. I know the makeup of their team, where their strengths and their weaknesses are. I know their coach’s tendencies. Same thing with the Patriots. Same thing with the Jets. So, I already got six games on how I could perceive how we going to perform against them in the regular season. And I also know teams like the Chiefs that I study. I also know the all the great teams. I know the entire NFC North, all the ins and outs that I need to as far Well, not all, but about 50% of what I need to know about the team. I know the NFC West. AFC North, AFC South. Only divisions that I don’t know much about in this league that I don’t study much is that Atlanta Falcons, um, Bucks, um, Panthers, them them over there. I don’t know much about them. And the only reason I study all these teams and I know these teams is because of Round Table Sports. I host these shows listening to the content creators tell me all there is to to know about their team debating. I do research myself to know what questions to ask them. I’m on a show talking about all NFL every day. So, I kind of get a good feel of getting outside of my delusion of being a Dolphins fan. Now, again, we talking on AFC’s round table and the Patriots, Jets, Buffalo. Hey, I’mma live in my delusion because I’mma rep my team. But when it comes to the NFL, I kind of get a good landscape and understanding about the opponents we’re going to play and how we match up, all the factors. So, stop coming at me comparing me to people who only study the Dolphins. That’s a limited scope. You don’t even know nothing about your opponents. Yeah, you can name a few players, but you don’t know anything about your opponents. Do you think the Dolphins can go 11 and six? Miracle yes. The answer is yes. But it would be a miracle. Like wow. They have literally officially exceeded and that that is exceeding expectations on a really high level. And it’s possible. Unlikely, but possible. Anything is possible. Bro, I accidentally ordered a size XXL Storm Duck jersey last season. I need him to work out man out of it. I ain’t going to lie, that’s funny. Like, yeah, I don’t know if that was an accident. You might have predicted he were going to be that dude. Is it unlikely that Storm Duck breaks out? Here’s the deal. Here’s one thing I’ll tell you. When you have such holes at certain positions, first of all, you get an opportunity when maybe you wouldn’t have. You see what I’m saying? There’s probably three teams in the NFL Storm Duck could probably start on, and that’s because their units are weak, just like ours. and he gets the opportunity though potentially if he wins it in camp. Still got to do that. So, you never know. He might shine. But as a new player, the league also starts to learn your tendencies and how you play. So, he might have an advantage coming out the block if he’s good. But, we’ll see. See, you got to survive the longevity of it. I don’t care nothing. I don’t care if you come out week one with two picks, week two with the fumble strip and like balling out. If you got to sustain it like a pro for the season, you know, that’s one thing we famous for in Miami, guys that break out and then all of a sudden they fizzle off. But you just remember that breakout and then the next year you’re raving about them. No, they ended the season horrible. You got to play all the way through. You got to be that guy. You got to be reliable. You got to play well. This why you can’t overreact ever with this team. This why I tell y’all with Chop Robinson, it was promising what we saw last year. Slow down. Cuz he got a year this year where he can’t just be promising again. He got to pick up where he left off and start progressing on top of that. You give me what you did last year. No, that’s it. Nope. I would like to travel to Chicago, but I don’t know if I will be able to. Um, again, that’s the part of the year I’m getting these babies back to school and all of that. I’m spending a lot of money. Um, I’m going to go down to Miami’s training camp. If I do get enough um support via Cash App, then I’ll travel to Chicago. Um, I have um one of our supporters and followers that already said that they’re going to take care of um um a hotel or something for me. Um a good friend. Um but still the plane ticket and all of that. Um if you all want me there, I’ll be there. But if not, then it’s all good. I’ll just cuz it’s only one joint practice anyway, which is crazy. Um, and if anything, to be quite honest with you, if I did get enough funds to travel via Cash App, I would prefer it to be Detroit because um, with Roundt Sports the company, I believe we got credentials to the Detroit Lions training camp as official media. So, instead of just that one joint practice, I would at least be able to be to their regular practice before Miami even comes and check them out a day a day early. Um, and then Miami comes the next day for joint practice. So, I would prefer to probably go to that one because I’ll have access to Detroit as a member of media. Um, but we’ll see. It just depend on the level of support we get. Um sponsorships and the company’s just growing. Um, me, Dan, and Richie, we’re doing a phenomenal job growing Roundtable Sports. Um, some of y’all might even see, you know, our work on socials out there getting pumped out there. Um, and shout out to Mass Work being one of the original founders, um, as well. Uh, but yeah, man, it was what I envisioned. You know, at first I was talking about a TD brand, but then it just, you know, that didn’t work out and we went a different direction. and it’s um it’s been a blessing and we’re just going to keep grinding to make it what we know it can be and will be. Um where the NFL and and other sports recognize us as a media conglomerate and um so to all all my haters that spew that propaganda that and by the way some of y’all may not know this. This is the um narrative about TD fans talk out there. It was a large part of Dolphins Nation who received this lie from some of my biggest haters that basically said I was never a Dolphin fan. I created 10 other team channels and the Dolphins were the one that popped. So, I went with that and they don’t even know I was creating Dolphin content by itself for three years before I even came up with that idea. Um, but that’s the narrative in the community that I’m not actually a real Dolphins fan because I had vision for bigger and better. Um, but that’s why I’m always grateful to those who support what I’m doing. It’s bigger than just this channel, y’all. It’s bigger than just this channel. I’m trying to do something special. I’m trying to, you know, build something special so all y’all can look back and be like, look, Roundtable Sports, look at what they just did. They just got that like like Bar Stew Sports just got a partnership worth hundreds of millions and stuff like that and when you look up you’ll know hey look what TD look what that that TD is associated with that and we were a huge part in lifting him up to that by helping him support his base of what he built with TD fans talk. Now, if they choose they want to be a part of something or be on camera on a Sunday or something like that, by all means necessary. So that’s why you don’t see the family as much anymore. Um, but you’ll you’ll start seeing us again if you you know partake in the Patreon that we’re about to start. Family stuff. I’m g start me a garden in my backyard. You know, different stuff. Man, your boy just turned 40, man. I got to do things different. You I got to do things that to that’s, you know, serenity, you know, just just, you know, just calming things, just peaceful things. If you don’t have that constant pursuit of something, that’s when everything like idol I mean the Bible tells you idol mind devil playground right that’s in everything in your life you know so have some type of goal especially and I love talking to men have a goal in life and and again I ain’t trying to lecture to you but I’m begging you don’t let your life be just going to work paying bills and keep trying to sustain. do that for your family, but have a goal on top of it. Buffalo is still in a weak division! Until we start pushing people off the line of scrimmage that`s not going to change. If we had focused on using the picks we got in the Tunsil trade building both sides of our lines instead of trading 4 of those picks to get Tyreek, we could have built a team that could punch the Bills, Ravens and Chiefs of the world in the mouth and push them around for a change.
