THE JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS VS THE CINCINNATI BENGALS WEEK 2 SIMULATION! (MADDEN 26 ROSTERS)

Hey guys, welcome back to the episode of my Cincinnati Bengals franchise series where we take a look at this upcoming season and see how it shakes out in terms of a Madden franchise here as Travis Hunter starts off the game with a reception. Now, keep in mind in this franchise series, we do not have two players. We do not have Trey Hendrickson because he is currently sitting out of the year. And we also do not have Shamar Stewart who might end up going ahead and sitting out of the year and re-entering the draft next year. So, should be quite interesting. For that said reason, uh T. Higgins is not in this game. Last week, sadly, on the fifth play of the game, he had a rib injury and because of that, he did go ahead and leave the game early. Well, he will be out this game and will be returning next week. So hopefully everything is okay there. But yeah, not the greatest to start off the season with that. With that being said, what was a great way to start off this game was that fourth down and short where Trevor Lawrence fumbled the football and it starts off the Bengals with Oh, okay. So, the ball gets tipped off the receivers’s hands and Yoshi’s goes for six. What a way to start off the game. I Wow. Okay. So, tipped off Jamar Chase’s, not Jamar Chase. Yeah, Jamar Chase’s hands and into Yoshi’s hands for the touchdown and giving the Bengals a seven nothing lead. Definitely not what I expected. Starting off this game as T Law is going to take off running and pick up a first down and some. Now last week we had a insane crazy game. Came down to a two-point conversion for the Bengals where they were able to go ahead and win the game. Now of course this game is going to be a little bit different as this is the Jacksonville Jaguars and so far they have been shredding this Bengals defense. Although again that first drive did end up with a four and out but so far it looks like they are moving the ball with ease versus this Bengals defense which definitely is suffering a lot without having Trevor Lawrence and not Trevor Lawrence Trey Hendrickson and Shamar Stewart as right here now down to the 31 yd line into Bengals territory. It’s going to be another run play here and so far they are gashing this Bengals defense. So what we saw last week was kind of the same concept. Judkins now learning more about him. Definitely not my favorite player. Um was able to gash the Bengals defense for 176 yards. Now, obviously in the end they weren’t able to win that game for the Browns, but 176 yards on the ground definitely not something you want to see. And so far today, I mean, this is like almost to a point was 5.5 yards per carry in the run game here as this is going to be a catch down to third in inches for the Jaguars. They do throw the ball here and that will be a touchdown as they do tie the game and really with ease. So, this might end up being a very high-scoring game as Jacksonville scored without any hesitation at all. Next drive later, we got Jamar Chase catching the bar for seven yards. Next play later, it’s going to be a handoff here to Chase Brown. And that’s something that we saw last week as well is the Brownies were able to shut down the run game for the Bengals. And the Bengals had to throw the ball as they go three and out right there. They had to throw the ball a lot more than they want to because the fact the run game was not working out as this is a second penalty flag. Looks like yes, it will be on Jacksonville as two crucial mistakes there uh for their offensive line. Next play later, it’s going to be a pass the left hand side. Incomplete. Brings up third down and 11 here for the Jaguars as he catches the ball. And that’s another first down for Brian Thomas Jr. Next play later, it’s going to be a pass play here for Trevor Lawrence and misses his guy wide open on the play. Second, nine and 10 here. It’s going to be a run play at the middle. This time it’s a fumble and that will be recovered by Jacksonville. So a second fumble to start off this game already as right here it’s a checkdown pass incomplete will result in a punt. So the Bengals defense finally getting a stop it feels like and actually you know doing something good in this game. I guess they did get a stop on the first drive but that second drive was very very questionable. Second down and five though, it’s going to go ahead and be a broken tackle and that will bring up third down and inches for the Cincinnati Bengals squad. Tanner Hudson in motion here. Chase Brown is the back and it’s going to be a caught for a first down by Tanner Hudson. So got some motion in the ocean as a toss play goes to Chase Brown here and it’s going to be a loss of two on the play. Jacksonville’s defense definitely coming to play in this ball game. Zack Moss, the guy we probably didn’t think much of in this game, goes ahead and runs for a humongous run so far. And that’s going to put the Bengals in Jacksonville territory. As right there, you did see Jacksonville’s player did jump off sides as Chase Brown is trying to remind us why he is RB1. Going into the second quarter here, it’s going to be a short pass across the middle for an eight-yd gain to Mike Siki. Second down and two here. Pass play yet again. This one’s going to be again this one to Chase Brown across the middle. First and goal now. First and goal for the Bengals. And Joe Burrow backto back weeks is going to get a rushing touchdown putting the Bengals up 147 in this contest. really this whole drive being sparked up because of that huge run by Zack Moss. But without hesitation, the Bengals defense looks like they’re crumbling as they are just getting gashed for two big plays backto back to start off this drive. Some motion in the ocean for number 81 right here. Trevor Lawrence in shotgun hands it off and that’s going to be another Jacksonville Jaguars first down. Trevor ETN really just absolutely demolishing this Bengals defense right now and running it down like it’s nothing. Second down and seven. Trevor Lawrence throws the ball and it’s caught to the left hand side by number seven here. And that’s going to be a crucial injury as one of their offensive guards will be leaving this ball game. And based on what we understand, he will not be returning. Third down and six here. Pass play for Trevor Lawrence. looking throws and a dropped wide open play right there. So they will have to punt which is a humongous L by them as that could have easily been a first down and some for Jacksonville. So Bengals coming back with trying to establish the run themselves and after two fails they’re going to throw the ball here to Jamar Chase as that will pick up a first down and some. so far still with that 7point lead, but I I don’t know that Jacksonville I mean that that Jacksonville that Bengals defense so far has look kind of questionable but third down and three here. Pass cross the middle is caught by Germaine Burton former third round pick from Bama as it’s going to be a five-yard catch right there to Mike Siki. Next play later under pressure and it is a wide throw going to Jamar Chase deep as he was hit as he threw the ball pass the left hand side is caught. Actually no did not get his feet in bounds. So that will result in the Bengals having to punt the ball as now Trevor Lawrence gets a 15 16yd run right there and that’s going to be intercepted. Pam Taylor Britt with the absolute clutch interception right here after that big run as they are all celebrating right here. But humongous W play here by Cam Taylor Brit as it is of course simple slant route pretty much and he just steps right in front of that ball and that’s going to be Bengals football now in Jacksonville territory. Playaction pass here. Dig down pass to Jermaine Burton. Will get four yards on the play. Next play later across the middle. Caught by Yoshi. First down 10 now. And the Bengals offense is cooking here before halftime as it’s another run play. This one not picking up a first down. This one does though. Chase Brown first down. Now Chase, it looks like Yeah, Jamar Chase in the backfield as he loses four yards on that catch. But this is something we saw last week with Jamar Chase. They like to utilize him in the backfield a little bit. Kind of make him more of like a gadget type player here. Um wide open Jamar Chase and it’s going to be a touchdown to Jermaine Burton. So I was going to say like Chase was open on that whole entire play, but nobody covered Germaine Burton as he gets backto back weeks getting touchdowns. So, really great uh right there for Germaine Burton. Yet again, showing us how maybe he’s worth that draft pick. Trevor Lawrence throws the ball here. And I mean, nobody, absolutely nobody was in the vicinity for that interception other than Logan Wilson. Not sure exactly what went wrong there. He did get hit as he threw the ball, but I mean, who are you throwing the ball to? Logan Wilson was really just the absolute only guy in that vicinity. Definitely mistake there by Trevor Lawrence as now with the Bengals already having a 14-point lead, getting back-to back interceptions. Definitely helps out a crap ton. Third down and four here. Joe Burrow throws it and is completed for a lot more yards than I thought it was. as that is Yoshi all the way down to around the two yd line. Yoshi yet again second and goal here pass left hand side and who else but Micah Siki for that touchdown and will give the Bengals a 28-7 lead going into almost halftime here. So definitely a huge momentum shift as it looked like Jacksonville was pretty much in handling handling this game to some capacity and now it’s the complete opposite as third down and two. Jacksonville is going to throw the ball deep to Brian Thomas Jr. and just misses the mark. So before halftime here, let’s see if the Bengals can go ahead and do something. As we remember last week, it was an absolute cluster fluff where J where um the Bengals end up getting no points because they let the time run out. So, first down 10 here. Pass caught by Jermaine Burton will set up a field goal attempt for Evan McFersonson and that will be good. So, that gives the Bengals a 24-point lead going into halftime. First game we have to look at is going to be between the Steelers and who else but the Seahawks as of course they are hosting the Seahawks in that Sam Donald experience with that Aaron Rodgers experience going on. Sealas currently are 0 and1 trying to fight the 0 and2 allegations right away. Saints are getting destroyed by the 49ers as it looks like Spencer Radler is now their quarterback. So, we’ll see how that shakes out. Now, we got Ravens Browns. And here’s the weird thing. Kenny Picket is their starting quarterback. They also picked up Gus Edwards. Not sure why. I’m not sure what’s going on with Shador. We haven’t had any report yet on Shador Sanders. He might be injured for that game, though. So, there’s definitely a chance that he got injured and Baltimore took him out of that ball game. Now, starting up the second half, this is something we saw last week. And I’m hoping this does not happen, but last week, uh, Cincinnati scored a lot of their points in the second quarter and then they go really, really absent in the second half. like the third quarter and fourth quarter, they really don’t do much of anything and they kind of try to hold on to these victories. So, as Jamar Chase absolutely dots up right there catching the ball on the lefth hand sideline. So, I’m hoping that doesn’t happen today cuz so far that has definitely been an issue here as Chase Brown catches the ball down to around the fouryard line. Actually, second and goal now at the four yd line. Cincinnati hands it off to Chase Brown and he is short at the oneyard line. Third and goal. They still cannot get in. Now they’re inches away. They go for it on fourth and goal and they’re going to hand it off again and Chase Brown is stopped. Just like that, Jacksonville holds the Bengals from scoring any points as Zack Moss actually came in for that last run and he was not able to get in the end zone. So, a great drive down the field just leading to no points because of that. So, Jacksonville starting off the second half with a run for around 11 to 12 yards. First down and 10 here. motion the ocean for Strange and it’s going to be another run play going absolutely nowhere. Second down and 10 now. It’s going to be a pass play for Trevor Lawrence under pressure and he is sacked. Third down and 20 here and of course Barrett Carter the Bengals fourth round draft pick getting after the quarterback here making a humongous play and just making a misery happen. So Jacksonville is going to hand it off to the fullback just so they can get somewhat of a decent punt. And let’s see what Cincinnati does after that last drive resulted in zero points and really just an ugly drive in the end going four and out. But again, when you’re up Drew Sample, by the way, great catch. When you’re up by 24 points, I guess you can kind of, you know, let some things like that slide. So far though, it’s going to be first down and 10 as a catch across the middle. Jamar Chase is having himself a game. Run play up the middle here for Chase Brown. Let’s see if they fall in the same fate they fell in last drive as Chase Brown is going to get tackled in the back field. Loss of a couple yards. Next play later, handoff here to Chase Brown yet again. Gain of two on the play. Third and goal now and it’s going to be a pass play intercepted and that’s going to be Joe Burrow’s first interception of the season as he’s trying to force it past the lefthand side there and sadly goes absolutely nowhere. So two back-to-back drives resulting in zero points in the end but Jacksonville now facing a third and 13 and they check it down to Brian Thomas Jr. So that’s going to give the ball right back to the Bengals already up in this ball game by 24 points. But back-to-back drives simply resulting in absolutely nothing. Not what you want to see out of this as right here. Micah Siki catches the ball down to around the 31 yd line. Playaction pass throw to the left hand side. Micah Siki is going to get a first down and some. Now down to the 16 yd line. Joe Burrow in shotgun pass play caught by Yoshi. Yoshi’s going to get down to around 11. Actually, down to the six. Joe Burrow under pressure just throws it away now. Third down and two going into the fourth quarter. And it’s caught yet again by Jamar Chase. And this time, Chase Brown is not messing around as he’s going to score and make the lead 38-7 as so far Cincinnati is rolling these Jacksonville Jaguars in their home opener as it is currently a 31point game. Second down and six now after that four yardd completion and Tall just takes off running but he’s gonna be met by Logan Wilson very quickly. First down and 10 here. Another pass play as Jacksonville is formulating a pretty decent drive for the first time since like the second quarter it feels like. Second down and 10 now for Jacksonville. Pass play here looking under pressure. dinks it off to Trevor ETN and that’s going to bring up third down and 10 pass play here and under pressure again he is brought down by Joseph Asai here first sack of the game fourth and 15 Lawrence launches it down the field and that’s going to be incomplete turnover on downs for the Jaguars Bengals now taking over in plus territory as Jacksonville does go ahead and simply gets destroyed. Oneyd run here by Chase Brown. Next play later is caught and in and out of the hands of Jamar Chase as he was lit up on that play. Run play up the middle here for Chase Brown and it’s going to bring up fourth and one here which they will go for it and pick up the first down and some with Chase Brown. Very very easy run right there it looks like as I think Jacksonville’s defense might be kind of giving up on this game which you see sometimes with a score like this in a game like this where yeah defenses will start to kind of crumble and give up because the offense is not getting the job done. Third down and 12. Here’s be a playaction pass. Joe under pressure. Almost intercepted on the play. Will bring up a very long 55 yard attempt for Money Mack. And Money is not even close on it. That was a horrific kick by Evan McFersonson. will be his first miss kick of the season in this franchise as it was a very long 55 yd kick but definitely not what you want to see from Evan McFersonson right there after last season right here it’s a dropped interception by the Bengals brings up third down and 10 Jacksonville trying to do something and they will have to punt the ball as they simply are not able to do anything against this Bengals defense so far you know it’s again it’s so weird how those two interceptions happen. This whole entire game flipped on top of his head and we’re looking at a completely different ball game here as the Bengals do go uh three and out right there. But let’s be honest, all they’re trying to do is just run out this clock. I mean, Cincinnati’s not trying to run up the score. But second down and 10. It is a pass the lefth hand side caught by number five for a first down Jacksonville here. First down and 10 with four minutes to go in this game. Jacksonville just trying to pat the stats at this point and do something to make this game look a little bit better than it currently does. But third down and seven, Trevor Lawrence is sacked yet again. This one by Chris Jenkins. That’s the fourth sack of the game for Chris J. I mean fourth sack of the game for the Bengals defense. But as I was saying, you know, sometimes you got one side the Bengals here who we’re not playing a rival. We’re not playing an opponent we really want to embarrass. So, we’re not trying hard. We’re just trying to run the ball, you know, not get anybody hurt, not have any issues. Jacksonville is like, “Hey, we need to do something here so that at least we have something to look at as they’re going to call an unnecessary roughness call against the Bengals as that is a 15yd penalty.” Next play later, first down and 10. Again, a simple take down pass. 106 to go in the ball game. Second and 15 and it’s a pass risky pass across the middle. We’ll run more clock off. Third and 13 here. Trevor Lawrence going deep on DJ Turner. And DJ Turner gets beat by Brian Thomas Jr. for a 55 yard touchdown reception, which yeah, again it pads the stats, but does it really change the outcome? No. So, it’s one of those situations where at the end of the day, you feel a little bit better if you’re Trevor Lawrence. He will be putting up over 150 yards total for this game, but you’re still going to lose the game by 24 points. Now, looking at the stats for this game. So, 33 rushes in this game, which is not bad. Definitely trying to run the ball over and over again for the Bengals, but not always succeeding very well at it. Miles Murphy did have a sack. Actually, no, he did not have a sack in this game. I don’t know why I thought he did. Um, you love to see it. You would love to see him do stuff like that. Uh, but so far, Barrett Carter has been an absolute gem for us. He’s been the guy that you really can uh you know hang your hat on. But because of that 55 yard touchdown, Taw finishes the day with two touchdowns, not just one. He also finishes the day with 177 yards and not 120. Travis Hunter didn’t really do anything. You know, he he was just there. So far, it’s not working out. But tell me down below your thoughts, guys. I’ll see you guys in the next one.
