Do the Miami Dolphins REALLY Need to Sign a Veteran CB?

I’m going to pose a question this way. Do the Miami Dolphins really need to sign a veteran quarterback? I know our secondary ain’t looking that great, but the guys who are out there are out there for a reason. Would it be wiser to just like maybe wait till the final cuts are made in camp late August, first week of September, see what’s out there? Or maybe novel idea. We trade for like someone who can actually play the position. Looking at the roster as a whole, we’ve made additions. Obviously, Ma Fitzpatrick, you know, huge addition. kind of really changed my thought process on needs cuz right now to me the needs are really only corner and depth on the offensive line. But corner worries the crap out of me. It should. But if they go in that mindset that Anthony Weaver is going to get more pressure up front which is going to help the corners. It will and it won’t because then in those situations, you know, you just quick slants, quick outs, quick just quick movement if these corners aren’t good. you know, cuz you’re going up against some good receivers this year. And you kind of sit there and wonder like, are you comfortable with them being a one-on-one with DK Metaf? It doesn’t matter how fast our pass rush gets there if they’re were able to get you can’t jam the receivers. I think that’s where my biggest worry is and that’s where I’m like, just add somebody just so we can see what’s going on. But I agree with you 100%. If they can make a trade, that’s where they should be.

  2. To fix the cornerback problem is to develop the in house draft talent. The quick fix overpriced free agent has not worked for us. Doing the same things year after year looking for a different result is the definition of insanity. No more bad locker room free agents. We are always looking for a hero outside the organization year after year.

  3. It is freakin mind boggling that every damn year they are stubborn about one area that kills them. Wtf just sign a veteran corner already. This will be the area that sinks McD and Grier's careers. An easy fix that will do them in

  4. It sucks cause if we had even a serviceable secondary we would have a great year in pass rush. But now they will be a half second away each rush from having the best pass rush and sack rate in the NFL
