Time Leiper is a terrible third base coach. He’s cost us a lot of runs this season. If you haven’t been paying attention to him, start. He’s ultra conservative over there. We’ve lost too many one run games when he’s held people up.

It was a ridiculous call to throw up the stop. Merrill’s speed, two outs (so running on contact) and a double. When Orsillo said “oh, they’re holding him” I was flabbergasted. Won the game.
