  6. I guess the difference is that MJ already won some titles when he said this. LeBron didn’t win any yet at the time.

  11. This is not comparable to LeBron’s infamous “not one, not two” speech at all. Context matters.

    This was after the 1st three-peat by any team since the merger, after the 72 win season, during the championship parade.

    Jordan was seen by many as the greatest athlete ever at this point. He could say whatever he wanted.

  31. MJ spoke in a more humble manner saying he hopes. LeBron said it like he was guaranteeing it. And in the end MJ delivered 6 to Chicago. LeBron only brought 2 to Miami.
