Swept in a series we easily could’ve taken 2 out of 3 and got screwed by an god awful umpire.
Life is peachy.

Baseball is a game of failure. Some are just better at it! 🤣
The one thing fans of every team can all agree on is the ABS system can’t come soon enough.
Ugly series sweep. M’s series probably do or die before the trade deadline if the halos aren’t already dead after this sweep
How nice of us to help the Mets by letting them sweep us after taking 2 out of 3 in Philly…
Thx to the ump crews in this series

Fuck the MLBUA – one of the only careers you can be wrong every single day but keep your job
Blew calls against Gifo, blew a huge missed strike against Soto on Monday that led to 2 runs
Truly unbelievable
With these umps, feels like the Angels need at least a 10 run lead into the 9th otherwise they’ll just pull another umpire Erich Bacchus masterclass in favor of the other team by calling middle middle pitches in the strike zone, balls. Jansen could throw a 99mph heater down the middle with a full count, and then hear ball 4.
First things first, your chances of winning are slim when you throw a bullpen game and give up 6 runs by the 5th inning
Your chances of winning are even lower when the umpire makes horse shit calls a foot off the fucking plate.
The hardest thing is this team is so close to being good. 1 bad inning, 1 bad call, 1 missed opportunity with risp… every loss sucks ass because we’re right there…
We need to sell. This is team is absolutely horrible. There is no reason to buy, we don’t have any players that could warrant a trade in which we buy unless we dip into our young core. So no, I don’t want to buy. Rather we sell what we can and reload for next season
I swear, this series was a perfect example of Murphy’s Law
You go into a crucial series in late-July with Tyler Anderson, Kyle Hendricks, and a bullpen game as your pitching matchups. Everyone will blame the umpire (yes, he was horrible), but that’s not the reason they got swept. This is not a playoff team. It never was, never will be. Time to sell and build on what has been a successful overall season.
This game is stupid
Honestly this is probably for the better good. the FO just has to do the right thing and sell as much as they can
I think this sweep was a good thing now we can sell
There is absolutely no way Rengifo was struck out by 7 straight balls
This series is the end of our season. They don’t know how to recover when getting swept. especially now coming into divisional games.
No ueno
