2000’s into the mid 2010’s are doing some real REAL heavy lifting my guy.
Lets not kid ourselves here.
Now, lets do the last 10 years
Angels were 4th in wins from 2000-2015 and have been 22nd from 2016-present. The last playoff win was in 2009.
The Angel fans that glaze the team are just as bad as people who can’t be happy about anything.
Don’t fool yourself with these stats.

They lucked into Stoneman (from the expos, they shoulda kept him) and Scioscia (from the dodgers, they shoulda kept him) and have had a lot of bad luck before and since then.
We are fantastic at being average.

The Torii Hunter and Vlad era we were good. Winning our division all the time. Then (conspiracy theory time) some awesome prospect came up and sucked all the talent and brains from the organization made it to the big leagues and he only made the playoff once.
That’s pretty good considering how bad the Angels have been for the last several years.
Our youg core is good, but I am not so sure its one of the best in baseball.
