Rich Hill’s First Game for the Kansas City Royals #mlb #baseball

This is Rich Hills first game for the Kansas City Royals. The Kansas City Royals are Rich Hills 14th team in Major League Baseball, tying Edwin Jackson’s record for most teams played for in the Major Leagues. His first pitch of the day, ball one. And his first no hit bid of his 21st season is officially over. But let’s not take for granted how amazing this is. Rich Hill is wearing number 35, but he is 45 years old. the oldest player in MLB by a good margin and the oldest player in MLB since 2012 when Jamie Moyer was still in the league. Andy setting all these records in the major league ballpark where it all started as he made his major league debut for the Cubs more than 20 years ago. Here he strikes out Kyle Tucker for his first strikeout with the Royals. Look at that absolute paint with the 87 mph fast ball. Froze Kyle Tucker. That was the only strikeout for him tonight. And he did earn the loss in this one, but he had a pretty quality outing. Five innings, six hits, three runs. Only one earned though. Not too bad for the old guy here. Defense not really helping him
