[Music] Going on drones Minnesota to find Vikings back at TCO Performance Center Bar and Grill. Day two of a Vikings practice in front of friends and family. Yeah. I I guess we’re not friends and or family. Yeah. The St. Olive Garden. When when you’re here, why are you here? Yeah. Uh but uh Kevin Oonnell. So, initially when I saw this, I was like, is Okconell vaping? because I sort of lean into the benefits of nicotine, right? Not cigarettes per se because cigarettes, you have the the nicotine and everything else, right? But I don’t know. So I I thought that he was hitting it here, but I then remember remembered he’s not Mike McDaniel. Like Kevin McConnell gets by on 2% milk and like uh uh clean rain water coming down from uh the mountain springs, something like that. I don’t know. Uh, but Justin Ricken Jefferson looking good. Again, I love the Cobra Commander visor. We need to make them mandatory. That’s right. Andrew Van Ginkle. Um, arching. I don’t know. Also, uh, you the friends and family, uh, day, like we said, there they are. And also, there’s the the number 70, Jim Marshall. This one’s for Jim. This one’s for Bud. This one’s for Kyrie Jackson. This one’s for everyone. It’s going to be a special season this year. Also, Brian Flores patrolling the sideline. I love it. I love Coach Flo and frankly, if and when he gets a head coaching job next next off season, I’m going to be a fan of that team. Now, I I hope it’s a AFC team. I’m just like I hope it’s an AFC team. It’s not going to be the Patriots, so it’s fine. Uh does he get the Dolphins job again? No, probably not. Um I don’t What job is he going to get? Actually, the Giants make the most sense. We’ve laid that up before just that defense as well as he’s from uh it’s from uh New York all that stuff plus uh something you love to see. So Vers Lee signed uh towards the end of OTAAS brand new guy 66 getting dapped up by the starting quarterback number nine JJ McCarthy. That That’s right. That’s right. Every man on this 91 man rooster when you’re here your family. JJ McCarthy looked good. Also I just everyone else all up in that mix. Brett Ripping Ass Br. Uh you got Slinging Sam Howell. Uh you got Ryan Kelly up in in that gaggle. It’s good. Plus on the bottom the local media jackles. Uh you got Caller Lue Lewis in the news is there. Uh Emily Leer from the strip. Kramer from the strip. Uh Dne uh my my countrymen. I think Scoggins is in there somewhere. Everyone’s look good. That’s right. Everyone’s tan and rested. Rego maybe just tan. Certainly not rested. Uh, but also Jonathan Gennard looking good, right? Also, my goal this summer was to get jacked and tan. I got tan. So, but Jonathan Gennard’s looked good. Plus, I I love the new helmets. Like, honestly, they’re like is it’s like space age stuff. Like things that you would think that a fighter pilot would wear. It’s fantastic. Sleek, aerodynamic. Uh, speaking of sleek, uh, well, the opposite. So, cuz Josh Oliver is a brick house, man. Uh, so 84 is looking good. No, we shouldn’t have we shouldn’t retire 84. We should limit its circulation. Like once Oliver leaves as the greatest blocking tight end in Vikings history behind Jim Kleiner and uh Jeff Dugan 84 should go to your alpha wide receiver one. Uh right. So it’s like LSU number seven, LSU number 18, USC number 55, Cowboys wide receiver number 88. That’s what it should be, right? So Jefferson should be 84. That’d be good. Oh, I like um Thelen or Dig should have been 84. Although they probably would have they probably would have given it to Treadwell in 2016. Ah, Ryan Kelly looking good. He’s got he’s got the the Guardian cap. I I’ve gotten used to the look and frankly we haven’t seen any Vikings wear it on game day that that I know of, but I mean I I think it’ll be fine. They already got the winter warrior color. It’ll be good. But again, Ryan Kelly looks like a crooked small town sheriff. It’s going to throw you out of the club. It’s going to be good, right? Also, Kevin McConnell, uh, Justin Freaking Jefferson, as well as Keenan Mardell just like, “Hey, over there, that’s the limit of the season.” And he’s just pointing to blank sky. Sky is the limit. Something like that. Something like that. I don’t know. Running back’s got Ty Chandler as well as, woo, Jordan Mason, 27. Looking good. looking jacked. I I you know, a after Kevin McConnell threw his support behind Tai Chandler, I’m kind of back in. And I I understand like every single year I fall for it. It’s just like I I’m Wy Coyote and Ty Chandler being good is the Roadrunner. It’s just like every single year. Ow ow ow. Is this going to be the year? I don’t know. I hope so. But yeah, it’s pretty clear that Kevin was talking about consistency. Uh pass block man, right? We need that 438 speed to put some bodies on some linebackers. That’s what we need. Also, JJ McCarthy, Ivan Pace Jr. in uh in coverage. Evers look good. Uh Bigfoot is blurry. That’s the problem. All right. Also, speaking of a blur, yeah, Jets. So, yeah, Jets did uh sit out the back half of practice with leg tightness. He’s fine. He’s fine. But 18, it’s ain’t good. Actually, h how tight would it be if Justin Jefferson was number 84? Come on, man. Come on. Also, uh, Keenan Mardell, the best wide receiver coach in in the National Football League, should be an OC if he wants that gig. Should be a head coach if he wants it. Uh, I I’ll say this where up and down the squad, it’s not just coaches, but it it’s teachers, it’s craftsmen. All right. I feel like Kingdom Cardell is a craftsman of the art of being a wide receiver, and he’s got the bonafide back it up. He’s got two Super Bowl rings. uh one wa he I think he was like a rookie special team with Washington in 91. So he won his first Super Bowl in Minneapolis at the Metrodome as uh the Redskins beat the Tar out of the Bills or was that oh that was the one where Thurman Thomas lost his helmet. Gloria Stefon was a halftime show. Oo again I when I die 200 years from now, right? Because I’m going to be a cyborg. They need to study my brain because I retain so much stupid information that means nothing versus I don’t I I don’t I don’t know Rocco’s middle name. I think it’s Ted. I don’t know why I picked Ted. Yeah. But also on the bottom got the wide receivers working. I don’t think it’s Ted. Uh wide receivers working. And uh we we point this out in the dump uh that there there’s a lot of uh Packers, Lions, and Bears fans pointing out to the the crowds like, “Oh, the Vikings fans don’t even show up for training camp. Look at this.” Whatever. Uh plus great signings on the defense. Javon Hargrave where oo Javon Harrave, Jonathan Allen, Christian Wilkins. Let’s go. Let’s go. Byron Murphy Jr. resigning here. I love Murf specifically in this defense. I love Murf. Plus, hey, at least Sam How didn’t throw a pick six today. I mean, that’s that’s pretty good, right? Plus, I have to do a double take every time I see the, you know, the red practice no contact jersey number eight with the purple helmet. There’s like, ah, we’re so back. It’s going to be good.
