Well, how about that? The St. Louis Cardinals get blanked in Colorado on Wednesday. They come home and have to face the Padres’s who are sitting in a wild card spot and they score nine runs. How do you explain it? I don’t know, but I’m glad that they picked up a W. Hey, it’s JD from Lock on Cardinals. Cardinals win it 9 to7 over the San Diego Padres’s. They beat their former manager, Mike Schil. Uh Sunny Gray got the start tonight. Wasn’t very good at all. uh only lasts five innings, is charged with five earned runs, gives up seven total. Um he’s been in a funk on the mound so far, as have most of the starting pitchers that throw for the St. Louis Cardinal, but lucky for him tonight, the offense was able to step up and get the job done. They have that huge second inning where they hit two three-run home runs. Brendon Donovan got one, Wilson Contrarus got one, Ivon Herrera would hit one later on in the game as well. and they hang on and out slug the Padres’s by a score of 9 to7.   8. I agree bro sell but I cant help but wonder after today or after the arizona series we announced we are officially punting on the season. JD. This goes for any team who's punted on the season but why play good? Why put up a fight like this and win? Where's the motivation. Please address this. Wherein lies the heart to win anymore because we saw it tonight
