I enjoy the pooping on Vegas with regards to baseball as much as the next guy, but this could have been recorded on a Wednesday at 9am. I need to see Thursday through Saturday shots right as it gets dark.
Was in Vegas last month. The strip was not as packed as other times I have visited. Fremont street was crazy packed. I think the resorts on the strip have been pricing out the normal family. $50-60 a night resort fees are crazy!
FJF, but I don’t believe this “ghost town Vegas” crap for a second. You can selectively edit to make a place as massive as Vegas seem empty.
Airport totals are down about 7%, but 2024 was a record year and 7% decline doesnt turn vegas into a ghost town.
I was just out in Vegas on a Tueday night. It was 🔥. Shoulder to shoulder walking. But my cab driver was telling me tourism is definitely down. So maybe for a visitor like myself a crowded Vegas is different from the perspective of a Vegas local. 🤷🏻♂️
Two words online gambling
If Las Vegas tourism is really down, I wonder if it has to do with the younger generation’s relative apprehension towards drinking.
