My dad was from Bristol, life long Braves fan, got me into it. We were gonna go to this, I was gonna fly out from the west coast to see it with him. He passed in April. At least he hasn’t had to see the season we’re having.
If I squint and hold my phone real close I can almost see my seats!
Is any of the seating the actual racetrack seating or did they just build an entire baseball stadium inside the infield of the racetrack?
And if so, why does it cost $2B to build a new stadium elsewhere?
My dumb ass was like “how did they build the outfield stands so quickly”. Then I realized it’s part of the racetrack
Kind of reminds me of the old Exhibition Stadium in Toronto
MLB 🙄 Can’t imagine what they spent on this stunt for a weekend. Makes zero sense.

Ngl this does give off 70-90s multipurpose concrete donut stadium vibes ( ex Vetrans Stadium, RFK, Three Rivers Stadium, etc) however this still looks better than what I was expecting.

Play the Super Bowl in the middle of Daytona. During the race of course.
Gonna be a lot of people asleep in the outfield
