  1. Pivetta is acting like a fool and I couldn’t be happier he’s 80% of the reason they’re down right now

  2. Pivetta mad at not throwing to third? My guy both guys on base are cause you walked em.

  3. Two things that Pozo has never said no to: a pitch and a plate of mofongo.

  4. [Padres](/r/Padres) Due Up **(Top 5):**

    1. Jose Iglesias
    2. Elias Díaz
    3. Fernando Tatis Jr.

  5. Damn 110 off the bat for Walker. Keep doing your thing Jordan, they’ll come eventually

  6. Hold on, Mikolas grows a beard and starts gassing it 95-97? I want the horse drugs he’s on, no joke, fountain of youth stuff here

  7. Mikolas pitching like somebody taped a pic of Fedde to his locker before this game.

  8. That’s 5, and scary as hell. Pull him and TRY to keep the game intact, please

  9. [Cardinals](/r/Cardinals) Due Up **(Bottom 5):**

    1. Victor Scott II
    2. Brendan Donovan
    3. Iván Herrera

  10. On the one hand, I am very happy that Mikolas pitched his way out of the double, and is having a pretty good game.

On the other hand, I want there to be no choice but trade/release him before the deadline. Hopefully this builds his value. But not too much as to want to keep him.

  11. [Padres](/r/Padres) Due Up **(Top 6):**

    1. Manny Machado
    2. Jackson Merrill
    3. Xander Bogaerts

  12. The Padres offense is pretty bad and Mikolas has still allowed a bunch of hard contact, but if this 2-3 mph velo bump is real, Mikolas is probably a much better pitcher.

  13. This is as beautiful as it gets given the current roster/situation.

Great job of Miles, gassed it up, mowed em down

Great job by Oli, didn’t push his luck

  14. Good shit from Mikolas. Velocity was up. Did anyone else notice his arm angle looked higher than usual? My Dad pointed it out early into the game
