Miami Dolphins 2025 Training Camp Day 4: Sign Two New Corners!

Day four of training camp. You guys were there. We got some big plays. We got an interception. But unfortunately, we do have two possible injuries that we have to talk about. So, let’s jump into it. [Music] What is up, Finn fans? It’s a big day. Big big day. the Miami Dolphins because you guys were there. So, I got footage. We got playbyplay. Uh, no pressure from Mike McDaniel in the beginning, but we got we got some things to talk about. First and foremost, the Miami Dolphins have signed a starting corner a starting caliber quarterback in uh quarterback Jack Jones and have waved quarterback Ryan Cooper Jr. Now, Jack Jones was with the Raiders last year. He played the full season for them. Now, is he a world beater? Is he anywhere near near possibly Rul Douglas or Asanti Samuel Jr.? No. But he is a a starting caliberish corner. So, it is a move in the right direction. I honestly think that the Dolphins are going to make a move for starting caliber corner because of what happened today. And I will get into that unfortunate uh I’ll just talk about it now. Kater Coo goes down. Uh, I will probably talk about it later because I have it in my notes. Uh, I have no news or notes about the severity of the injury. He walked off on his own. He had a slight limp. So, I’m hoping it’s nothing serious. Hopefully, he just banged his knees together. Take a few days rest. They have off tomorrow. Um, hopefully, again, I’m going to keep saying hopefully it’s nothing. And I think BJ Adams also went down with an injury. So, two corners went down. So, I will be shocked if they might not, you know, move on some moneywise. and I’ll talk about that as well and uh make another move at corner. But the Miami Dolphins did sign a corner today. He will rock number 23. Uh rookie Jonah Savania. Nope. Let me say it. Let me say it properly. Hold on. I got to pull out my uh the way I wrote it down so I know how to say it right. Uh Sava. Savvaya. Uh pumps up the crowd today. uh with uh a wrestling move on Josh PBY gives him uh the Superman punch that Roman Reigns does here. I’ll show you show you that real quick. Really funny stuff there. There’s Jonah there. Those guys are there. They’re fighting. He’s like, “What? What? What?” Boo. Oh, hit him with a wrestling move. Here comes Jonah. Oh, I got another uh angle of it. He gives him the Superman punch. Uh Mika Fitzpatrick working with Chop Chub and Phillips. Uh we also have first sighting of new corner Jack John. Jack Jones. I almost said Jack Johnson. Here is um them working together. Got Ma right here working with the pass rushers. Probably going to see a lot of blitzing from Mika Fitzpatrick there. Um safety uh Mika Fitzpatrick with uh will be represented by super agent and South Florida based Drew Rosenhouse League confirms. So like I was saying before, Sealer and Mika Fitzpatrick, both now represented by Drew Rosenhouse. I would be shocked if both those players didn’t get contract extensions. And by doing that, Mika’s getting about 15 million this year. Uh Steelers getting about 12 million this year. That should drop their cap hit this year. Give Miami more cap space to make a move at the cornerback position. We will see how that all works out. Uh Tariq Black. And now we get to uh onfield stuff. Tariq Black beats Ethan Bonner for a long reception during one-on- ons. Uh, apparently he uh mosed Ethan Bonner, got up there and made a great catch. Tula hits the back-to back touchdowns. Uh, one to Andrew Armstrong and a deep shot to AJ Henning. Um, what else? Dolphins Kater Coo. So, this is like at the beginning of practice. Dolphins Kater Coo just injured himself defending Tyreek Hill. He’s limping off the field now, but it looks like he is done for the day. Um, show you that footage right here. So, he went down and then he kind of gets up and he starts limping. So, I’m hoping it’s nothing serious. I obviously we’re all hoping it’s nothing serious. Um, Jack Jones jumps a Zack Wilson throw in one v1s. Almost picks it off but can’t finish the catch. quarterback Quinn Euers just did push-ups at the end of one v1’s uh throwing uh to a tight end and a running back. That means he messed up. Um Miami Dolphins quarterback Kater Kohu got hurt. Um this is a pass from Tua to Malik Washington here. Let me show you this. And to my podcast listeners, uh you’re going to have to go over to the channel if you want to see these footages. Nice little slant there. Um, yeah. So, anyone listening on the podcast, you’re gonna have to watch it on the YouTube channel. Uh, this is the play that Kater got hurt apparently. Let’s, let me show you right here. You don’t really see it, but you see. and then he like so I’m wondering if he kind of smacked his knees together again. I’m hoping it’s nothing crazy. First play of 11 on 11 is a false start on the offense but Jordan Brooks had a stop on Han in the back field. Um on the end of the run, the ball was stripped out by Mika Fitzpatrick who had the recovery. Alexander Madison with a solid uh sevenyard run up the gut. This is the run from Alexander Madison. Nice little lane there. Good to see. Hopefully uh we don’t see that more on defensive side. Uh Zach Wilson rips a throw into the This is from Travis Wingfield. This is why I tell you guys you need to follow Travis Wingfield cuz listen to what he says. Zach Wilson rips a throw into the honey hole from the far hash. Finds uh Estridge over the curl/flout defender under the safety. Really nice shot. The honey hole. Pause on that. Is it Travis? Pause on that. Um rookie safety John uh Saunders Jr. is in coverage on an incomplete pass from Quinn to Tariq Black. Miami Dolphins quarterback Zach Wilson’s connects with D Estridge on a nice pass on 11 on 11s. Channing Tindle with a stop in the back field on a run for Ali Gordon. He actually flashed once every day at camp. Two to Jaylen Wadd complete as he rolls right and throws across his body. I do have the footage of that as well. So, he’s going to roll right. Little play action. Rolls right. Nice little play to Jaylen Wadd there. Uh Cornell Armstrong has replaced Kater Kohu as the nickel. Jordan Brooks is the first uh is is playing fast and free. He’s beating uh in the line on the landmark uh on these wide runs. Alexander Madison with a nice shifty run behind tackle Ryan Hayes. Nice to hear that from Ryan Hayes. Another great rip from Wilson on a ball over the middle. Armstrong had Elijah Campbell on his hip, but the ball was uh placed up in the should up on his shoulder. Come on, Doug. Get it out there. Um, here’s another play here. Shout out to Tommy from Halia sending me these uh clips for you guys to see for all of us that aren’t at camp. Nice little throw. A little low if I’m going to be a nitpicker. Uh little low from uh Zach Wilson, but nice throw. Bonito Jones gets a sack on Tua on interior pressure. Jordan Brooks also in there. Willie Gay with a tip uh on Tua pass at the line of scrimmage. Loving Willie Gay. Devon Han bursts to the outside, but Terrell Dodson does a job meeting the speeder on the sideline. Um, here we got another play. Again, shout out to Tommy from Halia. Appreciate you, my man. Sending the footage. There’s Devon Aan. Little shift. Just a nice quick little run. Nothing crazy. Uh Pat Paul swallows up Chub on a reach block around the corner that gives Han a step. I think that’s the play we just saw. Ma contorts his body to make a splendid interception on Zack Wilson. First interception uh on from camp, which is fantastic to heal heal here. I actually have footage from the Dolphins, so we get a nice look at that. Uh before Mika intercepts, Chop was in the back field with Alec Engold picking him up. Zach Wilson uh displays strong footwork to work around the pressure using Engled as a pick, but unfortunately threw a pick. Quinn just dropped uh a sweet pass in the bucket on a deep corner route to Tariq Black. Love hearing that. Quinn Yurs had the pocket collapse around him um and he moved around. Love hearing that as well. Kenny G, the rookie, uh, is in action uh, stacking up an inside run for Jaylen Wright. Fantastic to hear that as well. Uh, this is Tula to Westbrook. Play this one for you guys. Nice little inside play there. Then, uh, James Daniels is doing the second period of 11 on 111s. He might be an every other day program regarding how much he works, especially with, uh, coming off that E knee injury. Uh, Matt Dickerson with a wouldbe sack. The second team O line is booty cheeks coming from Omar Kelly. And if you watch, uh, the Dolphin Collective, Allen likes to say booty cheeks now as well. Jack Jones reroutes Estridge. Another pressure, forces it out quick. Jones gets back in phase and squeezes in the window. Incomplete. Alexander Madison with another rip. This time uh with an excellent edge folded in by Pharaoh Brown. Love hearing that. Cornell Armstrong with a pass breakup on Taj Washington. Armstrong uh has some gas to him from Omar Kelly. This is from Cash. Shout out to him. Uh Tyreek, a two out of Tyreek for 15 yards. Nice little pass there. And that’s number 14 covering. Who could that be? I have no idea. Um uh Jason Marshall Jr. with a superb interception and coverage down the sideline. The rookie out of Florida, um with the first interception by any Dolphin corner at training camp. Love hearing that. Tula back in rips a shot to Wadd 20 yards over the middle. Um Estridge with a nice 20-yard reception from Zack Wilson. They are developing a bond. I’m excited to see that during um preseason. Grayson Murphy takes the corner on Ryan Hayes and he uh heats up yours for a wouldbe hit. BJ Adams is struggling to walk off the field after a pass that featured tons of contact. Hopefully he’s okay on the undrafted free agent. two at a waddle for a 20-yard bullet. 22 yard bullet. Uh Devon Aan takes a carry around the corner, beats Brooks and Chub with speed. Tanner Connor issues a punishment pancake downfield on Kendall Sheffield. Um Tua with a first down completion to Jaylen Wadd who caught it right at the sticks. Defenses bring the heat today. Threw in an exotic blitz at Tua and he hung in there and found Wadd for a hot completion. Now Zack has all day to throw surveying the entire field. comebacks to Estridge with a bullet over the middle. Um, Tua and Bev both complete a dab. Uh, Zack up for the play, which is nice to hear. Willie Gay is all over the route uh for the outside of Ezukama, but Wilson paints the corner and finds a completion. So, we got some interceptions from the backups, but also they’re also making great plays. Jack Jones, really nice rep on pass coverage. Again, very nice to hear. Um, what else do I got? Monterey Baldwin hits Kim Smith on a double move. Nice concept that bought a route in front of Smith that he jumped. Baldwin sneaks in behind him. Uers hit him for a long touchdown. Tua to Tyreek Hill for a 60 yard touchdown. I have the footage of that one. Again, shout out to Cash for giving us that footage. Here it is. Nice, nice, nice, nice little plays here and there. Um, Willie Gay has a hand dead to rights at the line of scrimmage. Tua with respectable reception down the field to Tyreek who beat Ethan Bonner. Tua with a nice 20 yard reception to Jaylen Wadd. Um, I have that play as well. Shout out to Tommy from Haliyah. I’m debating where I want to stand when I go to training camp. Like, do I want this view or up in the bleachers? Nice little play there. And then after practice, uh, quarterback Tua Tongavville, Zach Wilson, Kuners are signing autographs. Um, and there you go. That is practice for today. Um, really, really nice to see, you know, quarterbacks making moves. Oh, sorry. Let me show you the Dolphins version of the interception. Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Here we go. Here’s the Dolphins version of the interception. Like, look at that pick from Mika Fitzpatrick. Come on. Come on. Um, good day for the most part with uh the defense making big plays and the offense making big plays. I do expect Quinn Yurs and Zack Wilson to throw some interceptions. Still getting used to the play playbook. Still getting used to playing on this team. Uh, very happy to hear long touchdown passes. Uh, happy to hear Tua is just doing Tua things in camp. Again, Tua, that’s just what Tua does. He’s very uh efficient in training camp. Um love seeing Ma get that interception. He’s he’s happy to be here. And I honestly think the fact of him not talking to the media has to do with his contract. And I think now that he has Drew Rosenhouse, who literally not literally, but figuratively has an office in the building. I think something will get done with him and Sealer. And again, that should open up cap space. Uh, I don’t think the Dolphins have ever gone into the season not having at least $10 million in cap space as a reserve money, god forbid. Um, but overall it was a good day. You know, fun. Oh, also forgot to say Big E won the first orange jersey fan orange jersey. Shout out to him. He gets the orange jersey. Obviously, Devon Han was the orange jersey player, so he gets it’s signed by Devon Han. Very, very cool to see. Shout out to Big E, my fellow Giant man. Um, happy to see him getting his uh getting the orange jersey. I am campaigning like a motherlicker for the 20th and 21st that I’m there to at least get it once. Yeah, this is the first time where I’m going to be like, “Write my name down, please.” So, I I’ll remind you guys if anyone’s going to be at camp on the 20th or the 21st, I’ll let you know to write my name down. I want to win one. I I usually never do this like fan of the year and everything, but I want to win one. I’m sorry. Um, but yeah, good day. First day open to you guys. Off tomorrow, on again Monday, uh, and then pads on the 29th. So, comment below. Let me know what your thoughts are. Unfortunately, we had two bangup injuries from our corners. I’m going to see if there’s any update uh on Kater, which I don’t think so. We probably won’t know anything until maybe Monday, maybe tomorrow. Um, here you guys go. You can see our boy winning uh fan fan orange jersey again. It’s signed by whoever it is. So, Dolphins have experienced three corner lineups now with Mike Hilton signing. Oh, Mike Dolphins signed Mike Hilton. There we go. Breaking news as I’m doing this. More DB help in Miami. Former Bengals quarterback Mike Mike Hilton signing a one-year deal with Miami. There we go. Very happy to hear that. Just tweeting that out real quick. So, Mike Hilton is the other corner uh that the Dolphins signed. So, the Dolphins sign two starting caliber corners. There we go. Okay. Feel a little bit better. Feel a little bit better. Comment below. Let me know what your thoughts and opinions are. We got Mike Hilton added in here. Uh, I’m not upset about that. Good, good news. All right, I’ll see you guys on Monday. I’m going to go watch the Fantastic 4 now, but like usual, stay classy and f up.

  1. I was there. All the QBs looked good. Yes, I was impressed with the zip on Zach Wilson's arm and was surprised at his accuracy and ball placement given all the negativity out there.. Yes Ewers shows some promise but he is still learning. And yes, Tua looked sharp as ever. There were some good defensive plays against all three QBs. Injuries — ugh -what can you say, it sucks. Overall, a good practice if you leave out the injuries.

  2. Lol these bots are hot!! Lol
    And quick to reply

    Thanks for the fun content.

    (It's beautiful and refreshing) Jk

Question with Burns out for the season before it even begins does he still count 100% against the cap?

  3. Ha, Doug channeling some boxing love by accidentally naming heavyweight champion and one of the all time greats, Jack Johnson. So glad he finally got a presidential pardon for his "crime" of taking his wife across state lines.

  4. I like the way Dough breaks things down — great job!!! Much better than the other "Dougs" that are out there on Youtube. 😆

  5. Doug I’ve been a fan before you were born so I think I know some things about the Fins there like most teams in the league it’s all about the money we’re the he’ll are the tough guys don’t worry it’ll be the same old I won’t say the word in the 70s the team was tough as nails

  6. I fckn love you dougie!! The way you break down the possibilities of making the cap space for resul or asante. Its exactly what's probably being worked. These damn injuries are killers though
