San Diego Padres vs St. Louis Cardinals – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | July 26, 2025 MLB Season
Don as Fernando stands in on the right side. [Music] First pitch is missing up top at 94 miles an hour. Back and forth as you mentioned. Drag bunt. Nicely dropped but glove to glove and a nice defensive play by Liberator to left field and incoming. Berles will make the catch. Route number two. type situation with two outs and runners in scoring position. He is this time a swing and a miss as Jackson Merrill. Well, strike Donovan will pop it up into shallow left. Coming in is Johnson. Little stagger, but he’s there to make the catch. Good numbers for Herrera at the plate and he hits a one hopper to second baseman Jose Glacis for out number two. One for nine in the series, make it one for 10 as he strikes out. First K of the night for Vazquez. Done with one without a score this year. Still using the force seamer when he falls behind, but he’s incorporated the change up a lot more. He’s trying to keep guys off balance. Something to keep an eye on over the course of this ball game when tried to hit my spot. You throw a BP fastball. You get burned once in a while, but I wasn’t a red line guy every single timeout, every single pitch. Slider for strike three as he gives time through the course of a season. You get 30 33 starts. There’s a liner into center field for a base set. Off was Croninworth. So he is headed to third. Little bobble by Scott. Cron going to try and score here and he will. Padres get a run. Take a one- nothing lead. The third by the Padres’s in the last 37 innings. So they have not been patient. This is out towards right center field. Victor Scott is there and he makes the catch that ends the inning in the air to right center field. Fernando will have room as he makes the catch for out number one. Be able to go deeper into these games. Yeah. And you know what’s going um popup backpedaling is a glacius to the outfield lawn and he’ll make the catch for route number two. I know it’s to center and Merrill going back. Still going. He leaps. Can’t get it. It’s over his head. Arnado does not run well but he’s going to try and score. Here comes the throw. Playward. He’ll be safe. Game tied one to one. Two out double for Jordan Walker out of the reach of Maryland Center. Now for Vasquez of his outing and a fly ball to right field sending Fernando back. It’ll take him to the dirt of the track, but he’s there and he makes the catch. It’ll end the inning. Fly ball center field as Scott comes in and under and he makes the catch on the run on the ground to third base. Arnado to second for one on to first. That’s two. That’s the inning. Fights this one off. Couple of hops out to a Glacius. High hop by the billowing cap high. And it’s a five pitch inning. Nicely done for Vasquez. Tied to one after three in St. Luke. How about How about that being an equipment manager? There’s a base hit down to the right field corner. It’s like an extra base hit is heading for second base at least is Cronorth. He’ll pull it up around second. Good start to the fourth inning. Cronorth with a double. Keep Cronorth at second base. Goes the other way and the backhand. Contrarus will take it to the bag. Nicely done there by Glacius to get that runner over. Sean Bond the safety squeeze towards first base. Contras comes home and he’s safe. Padres take a two-1 lead. Grworth gets in. [Applause] Now a liner that is caught at second base by Donovan up into the air right at the apex of that leap. He reels it in, robs Fernando. Two down. He timed that perfectly. That’s one heck of a play by Donovan at the Keystone. 3-2 is on the ground right side and it is Donovan again. flips to first for the out that ends the inning. But yeah, but you I think you were um Oh, there it goes again. Strike three. Second strike count for Vasquez. They both been Berles. Fly ball center field. Back goes Merrill to the warning track. Has room. Makes the catch in front of the wall. Six. The shorts stop who hits a popup into shallow center. Merrill comes in and under and Jackson will secure out number three. We’re through four in St. Louis. Two-1 Padres took him the opposite way in the third. Let’s see if he goes that way again. Swinging a miss and he struck him out on the curve balls. It’s a lot of work. On the ground deep third. Aronado to second for one onto first. Not in time. and beats it out. Bayham 96 on the fast ball. That’ll end the inning. Times out. Four and a third for Randy. High chopper to third base. Manny Machado. Bill of the cap high. Fires to first in time. Short right this time. Kind of a late break for Fernando, but no problem. On the ground right side as a glacius goes to first. And that out is the third out. Play five in St. Louis. Padres’s have a 2-1 lead. Wade at a curveball and strikes out. Second strike out for Ley. Two down here in the sixth inning. High fly ball to left field. Alec Berles staggered, but he’s there to make the catch. It ends the inning. One, two, three, six. Four horsemen. It’s quite a recipe. Pop up left side. And Bogart’s backpedaling on the outfield lawn and that one appeared to be blown out towards his active scoreless hitting pitch streak [Music] ties him up. Strikes him out. That’ll work. Fast ball. Got to get some points here. It’s getting late. Off the bat of Tatis coming to second base and Donovan to first for the out on the ground and to the backand sliding his win. gets up and throws him out. Nice play. Wow. Nice pick. Strong arm in the seventh inning for Manny Machado. Lines one to right field. And that’s going to be a fair ball to the right field corner. He’s headed for second base as Walker gets it back in. The throw is cut off and Machado’s got a two out double to hooks in on the ground right side. Brendan Donovan will throw him out and in the inning, a seventh on the ground right side. Eglacius slides to his left and throws out. Arnado first out of the inning. There’s a grounder back to the mound and Estrada a second for one onto first. What a stretch. They got him. Nice job by Croninorth. Right. You know that look. Well, let’s start with the check swing. I’ll call it Estrada at second base. You know the good throw everybody anticipates. But what a great job by Eglacius just staying on the bag and then Jake having to dive for it towards the outfield side [Applause] and it’s by him struck him out. That will end the seventh inning. This is up the middle. Leaping is Donovan. His throw picked at first and a collision. Hoggard’s colliding. Give up the knock. Swinging a miss and Cort down on strikes. Slider gets him for out number two of the eighth. The off pitch and a liner that’s caught at first base by Contraras to end the top of the eighth. Going to try to bunt pops it up instead. Machado who is in has to go back and now Bogurts calls him off and makes the catch in short left field. First out of the eighth on the ground left side towards shortstop. Bogurts to second from one on to first for two. Double DP lane. DP lane. Mudcat to left field and falling fast falling for a base hit and goes up into the crowd off the glove of Berles. An option gets it down and pitcher is going to first base. Grenito fires to first and the sacrifice is complete. Grounded to short stop and it’s bobbled there by Win Reynolds. Score. Thrown to first is in time. But the Padres’s get an insurance run as Johnson gets in. Lifts it out towards left center field. This ball will be cost. Berles gets there. I didn’t think he had any shot, but he does. He gets out there deep left center field. swinging a miss. He struck him out. First down of the ninth inning and it was the change up that gets him. Yeah. Bookheads first pitch change up. Fly ball right field playable for Fernando over a few steps and under. Out number two of the ninth inning. The two- two pitch on the ground towards shortstop. Bogarts will go to second base and he got him. Mlacius covers the bag. That’s the ball game. Padres’s win. So, the force out at second base wraps it up. Cardinals will not challenge. Jan, the Padres’s snap their four

What beats leaving town with the Dub, guys keep the winning drive alive on the road !!!
A little production from Bogaerts and Tatis goes a long way for our pitchers
I wanted to see that argument pitch with Manny…… what the heck was that pitch about???
Wow, look what happens when the padres pitch well. They win and they don't have to score 10 runs to win a game. Like I've been saying, let's improve the pitching. The starters need to get their game together or get rid of them.
