Rays vs. Reds Game Highlights (7/27/25) | MLB Highlights
The Red Seek a sweet. They were 4.5 out in their last 21. They are 15 and six and now stand a game back. He’s got to look like a giant to a four or five year old out there with the glove that is just too good. Brady Singer gets the nod today for Brady Singer. Let’s hope it’s a major contrast from the last time out. Take on the lead off man, Chandler Simpson. Hey, a base hit and to left and Simpson is on again and now that he’s on, he is very much a threat to run. He goes good job pitch called a strike throw down. Pretty good one. Got it here. Oh, look at Tur Tur was walking towards the Reds dugout as the call was made at second as if to say, yeah, I got him right on the money. Just catch. You don’t even have to apply the tack. The ball just carried right on to the baserunner. Now, a pitch in clips Diaz who dropped the bat and Yandy Diaz has first base Jonathan Aronda two pitch swing and a miss struck him out an ugly swing by the left handed hitting Aronda for a strikeout of the afternoon for Brady singer. Now tapper a singer, it’s an eight pitch. First inning. We go to the bottom of the first , taking the mound this afternoon for the Tampa Bay Rays is going to be right hander, shane Boz making his 21st start looking for win. Number nine, shane has been very , very good on the road this year. DJ Friedel said to lead things up that is rope to right base hit turned on by Friedel. He said he might be in the fat part of the zone and Friedel swings away leadoff single when he’s on base. It seems to drive the excitement and the energy in the Reds dugout mclean that’s over Paris up to second base on the single by mclean. He now has hits in 13 of his last 15 games. Cutter gets smacked to left and the Reds have back to back knocks to begin the game that will bring up. He is six for nine on the series with three doubles in the two breaking ball strike three called. He locked him up, chase that fastball and Then the curveball right off of it and just locks up a Hayes. The designated hitter tapped up the middle chance has got a chance. It again from Fried flies home scores that ball hit the ground back behind the pitcher’s mound and it just stayed flat on the ground. That’s a highly difficult play for any shortstop RB. I now Gavin Lux two on one out runners go double steal up and in missed throw down, not in time, but the league has run all over Boz one man caught and now 13 attempts on the season double steal infield in this is top right side runners break, flip to first just gets the batter runner looks but mclean scores Hayes to third and the opportunistic Reds help produce a couple of runs. Pretty heads up play there from Tristan Gray. If he’s not covering first base , that’s a base hit because there was no play at the plate will beMart-n. Mart-n. Now the 1 to 2 pitch and a strike called Martes out of there, the Reds get two in the first. He had the second two out. No one on leaves it for Tristan Gray. Here’s the 12 pitch there, strike three called, he threw it again and frozen down on strikes. Tristan Gray and singer works a 123. 2nd two are gone here in the second inning. Full count. Here on Espinal two out walk. Friedel singled and scored his first time. He led the ball to right runner goes way in. Friedel is on back to back, two out walks, you know, two quick outs and Then two walks, you open up the door for one broken bat. Blue pit to add to the Reds lead and those are the things that really have come back and hurt the race in a big way man who is singled to left, stole the bag and scored two outs followed by two bases on balls and the tapper the third across is in time for all the wildness. It is only reds to raise nothing after 22 up, two downs locks who drove in a run with his ground out in the first inning well hit opposite way. That’s a knock for Lux. Lux is on with a two out single. Marte will stand in fisted flair out goes gray. It falls. Lux never stopped. He easily has third Marte able to dig that one in out of the corners. This ball was up in the air forever at the Bermuda triangle. No one could get there and Then he gets by everybody. But you thought right there that maybe there was a chance that Lux was going to try to four and here’s another inning, two quick outs and Then the pitches start to mount again. First goes and Marte swing and Miss throw down is late. Marte steals second two in scoring position. Now, jake Fraley Reds another chance for some two out offense and a fly ball short right. That ball will be caught racing out gray from second base makes a tremendous catch, took away two runs on the dead run with his back to the field. Two outs with the RDA still at first base and we shall see what josh Lowe can do with Brady Singer. Nothing in two. The count on josh Lowe, the 02 pitch swing and a miss, he struck him out with a slider down and in and singer is punched out four, four 2 to 0 right out of the bottom of the first inning. The Reds scored right away and it’s allowed singer a bit of freedom. Really getting his first real action. He came in defensively for just a little bit. Last night. Singer delivers and a swing and a miss struck him out. Got him with the slider down over the inside corner. That’s five strikeouts and counting starts. Third time through for singer, nobody on two away. And the batter is Jonathan Aronda 1 to 2 pitch swing and a miss struck him out sinker and in frustration slams his bat and helmet into the ground. It’s another 123 innings for Brady Singer. Still two nothing reds in the middle of the sixth. He’s gone seven twice as a red including his debut. Still only at 80 pitches. Reds have had a couple of men CG. This year came lead off to two is called strike three. Another looking strikeout for Brady Singer. So the bases are empty. Two gone. First pitch floats to seven shutout innings from Brady singer, Brady singer remains on the mound. He’s at 86 pitches tossing a two hitter singer has set down seven straight first time as a red. That singer is pitching in the eighth. Kirsten Gray stepping in to lead off the eighth for the Rays, three balls, two strikes, fastball in nice job of receiving that pitch. Now, here is Taylor walls sending a fly ball deep into right center field. That’s Gary gone home run Taylor walls on the first pitch hits it out and the raids are on the board that will make it a 2 to 1 ball game pulled that pitch right to the middle too and Taylor did not miss it. So seven and a third for Springer before the home run though, singer delivers his longest start as a red and he leaves with the lead. He’s in line for a victory. Singer off to a standing ovation. Emilio Pagan is on for a save try just his second save opportunity since the all star bring and there’s one down here in the ninth inning. Jonathan Aranda has walked once. He has struck out twice, slapped to center Friedel on the move. Makes the grab on the slide two down. Oh, what a long run for Friedel when that ball went up. I thought that was a hit and Friedle closed that ground in a hurry. Now the all star junior cro popped him up. De La Cruz out a clean sweep. The Reds are season high 6/500. They complete the sweep. Take the finale 21

Go reds ❤ love my team
That is my mf'n TEAM!! 🧹🧹🧹
Again? Pfff I didn't know the Rays were so afraid of the Reds. Sad
Cincinnati just needs to improve their offense a lil and they can win it all
🧹🧹🧹playing good ball🧹🧹🧹
Good to see them hold on for Singer. He really needed one.
Let’s go reds
Rays needed the sweep to stay in it. They didn't get it, Cincinnati did instead. Oh, come on Reds! Here's your big chance! 6 over .500 ! They're at their high for the year! Oh, keep going ! Don't let up now ! Keep going !
Tough luck on the 3-2 strike call on gray, could’ve been a 2 run homer to tie it up. Be nice to see challenges get implemented for next year.
I said few days ago, Cincinnati is red hot!!! Who's next? The L.A. Dodgers. Let's sweep them. Where half game back in wildcard race. Dodgers could b a team in wildcard race, before it's over, also. Keep grinding, good things will happen.
En el dinero
Reds now are in pursuit of a wild card berth in the NL
WINCINNATI!
Reds upcoming schedule is rough. I don't see the unswept status remaining much longer.
As a Reds fan, Im happy… but I've seen this script before. I need to see how this team handles prosperity.
Reds win, Cardinals lose… unfortunately for us, St. Louis lost to San Diego, who we are trailing in the Wild Card race. However, the division is still very much in reach.
Rays season is over good riddance.
Juan’s betting big on the next generation
I feel the Red river flowing. Good job today boys!
