  1. I can’t lie, they *may* have underrated the Brewers here. They’re a very scary team and still tied with the Cubs.

  3. Respectfully gentlemen, this is a bs list. Are we top 5? Yeah probably. But I stand firm that we should at least be behind the Blue Jays, who have been playing with their tails on fire recently.

  7. Top 5, absolutely. I’ll even go top 3, but we need another starting pitcher before I’ll go #1.

  8. I would have the Jays above us 100% they’ve been rolling and have been beating better teams more dominantly.

  10. I dunno. Top 3 for sure, but idk about 1. Let’s see how the Brewers series plays out.

  16. not sure how we’re listed as #1 but I’ll take it. Would have preferred a flip w/ the Brewers as motivation for the series this week lol

  19. I always lean on 3 things:

    1: Counsell is a hell of a Manager
    2: We’ve gone pretty much all season with 3 SPs at any given time
    3: We’ve never been swept

  20. Do I believe we’re top 3? Sure. Idk that we deserve the No. 1 spot though. Brewers should most definitely be higher too

  23. This is rage bait to induce social media engagement. Brewers/Toronto should be higher up. Everyone knows that.

  28. I don’t see how they justify the Cubs at 1 and the Brewers at 6. The Cubs’ offense is better, and their defense is as good as ever, but the Brewers’ pitching staff has proven itself to be much, much better than the Cubs’ group. You can say the Cubs have Taillon and Assad on the way, but the Brewers similarly have Nestor Cortes almost back and and so solid in their rotation that they sent Chad Patrick to AAA, just because they were out of room.

    Just like the division, these two should be closer in the Power Rankings. It’s an unjustified slight towards MIL, who has won the NLC for 2 straight years and is tied for the lead yet again.

  30. I know it’s not the end all be all, but we’re just over 100 games into the season and Cubs easily have the best run differential at +116. Next closest all the way down at +95 is the Yankees, followed closely with +92 by… the fucking Brewers.

  31. Dodgers are overrated. Brewers and Jays are underrated. Should probably be Jays, Mets, Brewers, Cubs, Phillies

  32. Kinda surprising the Brew Crew is ranked SIXTH…I’d say top 3. Should be Cubs, BJ’s and Brewers IMHO

  33. How is the head to head with the cubs and the teams on this list. It seems like the Cubs are middle of that pack to me
