Posting this to give a visual illustration of the Warriors’ cap situation and optionality.
That $3M would presumably be the negotiating space the Warriors have for Kuminga since it allows them to still fill out their roster fully under the hardcap.
Can be reduced to $2M if they want to roster a veteran over Toohey, or increased to $4.2M if they only run with 14 guys ($5.2M if the 14th is Toohey or Richard).
I would rather see toohey on a 2 way than Richard.
Doesn’t using TPMLE hard cap you at first apron? If not what’s stopping warriors from offering horford that contract now?
toohey, should definitely not get the SRPE. dude is not NBA ready at all. he needs a year in the G. Would rather, Richard and then Armstrong and Rowe on the two ways. maybe Cryer towards the end of of the year closer to the championship run.

I like this however if we could get another wing vet for the fourteenth spot like Boucher that would be perfect. Then just let 15th spot open and eventually convert Richards from the 2way there.
Toohey should be a draft and stash in Australia till he develops a bit more.
Horford+Melton+Seth is an awesome offseason and especially if GPII comes back, I think he’ll look better next season with distance between injuries and in a smaller role, wherever he goes. Warriors on paper could be looking very very nice in a little bit.
I think I’d like a Lyles or Boucher type on one of those mins. Get a little bit more rotational size

Can someone explain why Moses’s apron hit is the only one different than his tax hit? The money stuff doesn’t make much sense to me. As in, I’ve never bothered to learn.
I don’t think they would sign Toohey or Richard’s until mid season. Probably leave the 15th spot open
Would we really bring back GP2 if we were bringing in Melton and Seth? I know he can be a useful player in spurts still but feels like his slot could go to a wing.
I’m not s9ld yet on Tooney, but that seems like a really good roster to me. Just missing a little beefy rim protection.

I would offer JK anything over what Cam Thomas got, and even thats too much in this CBA, i like the kidd but its all about the team at this point and hes not even a starter. 14mil Per. But it should really be 12.5 (2year). He should have taken the deal we offered last year when Moody signed. Now he blew his chance
