Sad day in Chicago even if he was a Cub

  1. Met him February. Class act. We were just chit chatting and at one point my dumb ass says “I should let you know I’m a sox fan.” He paused and just looked at me and finally said “it’s ok man.” Lol. I’ll cringe at that moment the rest of my life. RIP Ryno.

  2. Rip. Great player and an even better guy! Get checked for prostate cancer my dudes. It is time for most of you. Seriously!

  3. I have no shame admitting he was my favorite player as a kid until Frank came around. God bless a Chicago legend.

  4. Fuck, he was one of the first stars I was exposed to when I got into baseball card collecting (around 1990, the worst time for collecting).

  5. Can’t stand the Cubs, never could, but he was one guy I did enjoy watching. Got his autograph as a kid. I still have it somewhere. RIP Ryno.

  6. Just went back and watched his HOF induction speech. The man was the very definition of the words “class act.” Rest In Peace Ryno. May the angels carry you Home.
