B.I has been one of those players that got alot of undue hate from the Pels fanbase and myself justified or not. He was supposed to come in to be a 2nd option next to Zion but unfortunately due to Zion's multiple injuries (and lack of us actually do something about our playmaking till this year) he was forced into a number one option role and has went to war with us in all of our postseason work.
He's a greatly underestimated passer due to lack of spacing that would occur on the Pelicans or injuries, Can create his own buckets, and this year (this is why he gets a little hate) he decided to up his 3PA and actually shooting a nice percentage from the arc. Tough shotmaker that can be bothered by more physical defenders, not a star on defense but capable, and can finish at the rim

He’s definitely gonna have to adopt a radically different playstyle in Toronto.
I certainly hope it betters rather than hurts him.
Really interested to see what he can do in our offence
He is like KD light
If he can stay healthy he can be the guy who can get a shot off when plays get blown up
It’s either going to be a spectacular success or a spectacular failure
Hoping for success
All I can say is I’m legit pumped to see what BI can do for us. I’ve been lucky enough to see him live a few times, I don’t know how else to describe it other than he truly stands out, and is a pleasure to watch
Midrange is juicy
I feel like he would be cramped. Nut shells tend to be quite small.
He’s going to be a good pressure release valve with his finishing. Raps have been missing that since KLow/Vanvleet.
Raps were 2nd last in isolation possessions per game and 3rd last in points per isolation possession.
BI is going to change so much for our halfcourt offense.
Let’s just see if he can play 60+ games
Basketball casual here – but he kind of reminds me of shai’s game. But with more size. Am I crazy to say that ? Makes me think how amazing it is that Shai is the MVP with his style of game (lots of posts ups and mid range) but at this size.
Moves like Siakam.
(For real though, excited to see what he can do. Also hope people don’t watch someone’s highlight reel and then set that as their baseline expectation).
He’s one of the best isolation and 3 level scorers this franchise has seen and this trade with be looked at as a steal within the first few months in my opinion.
How Darko implements these guys will be interesting.
Gotta be excited to see him play. Literally KD lite. We had to wait what seems like an eternity to finally see him play. Can’t wait for the season to start. He’s a dude that seems like he just loves to play basketball. Doesn’t care about any of that spotlight that comes with it. He’s just a basketball purest
His handle really impressed me in that vid. Much stronger finisher than I remember too. Admittedly all my memories are of him in a Lakers uniform, but still!
I really hope BI has a “yall must’ve forgot” season
