Jimmy Vesey Weighs KHL Offers as NHL Future Uncertain

  1. C’mon Ducks, you could use another hard working veteran to provide leadership!!!

  2. It’s weird to me that he hasn’t been signed by an NHL team. He’s a fine fourth liner. It only starts to go sideways when he’s used as the 1st line RW (looking at you Gerard Gallant)

  3. He is trash. I could not stand his boneheaded plays when he would have the puck and then start skating back to his own zone thinking he is a prime Scott Gomez or a bonafide diva like Johnny Malkin.

And then he had the nerve to complain about playing time. How about play better and contribute to earn ice time instead. Never saw the need to play him anywhere but the AHL at this point in his career.

  4. Before his injury I feel like he was really shaping up to be a core 3rd/4th line energy guy with some potential scoring upside. Came back flat and I feel like he was on a short leash at that point anyway.

  5. There are current 4th liners on NHL teams who are worse than Jimothy Vesey and have a higher cap hit than he would likely command. The Rangers don’t have space for him to be a regular and they already have a surplus of bottom 6 guys, but if they had space I’d bring him back

  6. Hes a very underrated 4th liner, and decent on the PK. Wish him the best.

  7. He needs a new agent if he hasn’t gotten one already. His value was never higher than when he signed that most recent contact and he got ripped off. That was his one shot at throwing some real cash in the bank to help set himself up. Now he’s fishing for contracts in Russia. He could have made $1-1.5 million AAV on that last deal.

  8. You could do a lot worse than Jimmy Vesey on your 4th line, and he won’t be expensive .
    I don’t get this

  9. Remember when everyone lost their mind about him not playing over the winter?
