Strong rehab performance in AAA for Johan Oviedo. Is he a forgotten piece of the Pirates future?

  1. He’s another reason why they need to be bold and aggressive right now in the trade arena.

  2. He’ll be a solid piece in the rotation but I’d just be prepared for him to look bad at first when he first comes back to the MLB level, especially near the end of a season with teams fighting for playoff spots and the pirates being the pirates. Just hard for most guys after TJ and a year+ off recovering, but over time he’ll look good

  3. He is on track to come up and replace whoever gets traded in the next 2 days. But probably will not be able to go more than 4-5 innings per outing the rest of the year.
