  1. Positives from today’s Cleveland baseball:

    #Extend Steven Kwan

We need positives in this chaos. Bad days for Cleveland, bad days for baseball, but we’ll keep doin our thing.

That was very satisfying and cathartic. The bats get 10 runs off of 15 hits, 4 walks, 1 SB, and 1 HBP. Today was the day that Manz-yardo🥔 evolved, going 3/4 with 3 RBI and his ~~first ever~~ second 2 home run day. Kwan👑 did his thing with a single and a walk, José🐐 had a pair of singles, and NoJo⛰️ went 2/3 with a double and the aforementioned HBP. Bo🏹 slapped a double, Rocchio🪨 legged out a 2 RBI triple, Schnee⛄️ stole a base, and every starter got on base at least once. More of this please!

Seriously, our pitchers are turning into inning eaters and it’s kinda wild? Lieutenant Logan Allen2️⃣ ends the night with a line of 7IP, 10H, 2R, 1BB, and 3K on 113 pitches(78 strikes). A monstrous pitch count, both ERs on solo bombs, and overall a quality start? Love to see it. Most pitches by a Cleveland starter since Civale threw 114 on May 19th, 2021 (thanks Stebbins).

*I did have a note for yesterday but yeah that didn’t get seen for… well you saw the game.* Instead, tonight we were blessed with… I can’t entirely blame him but dammit Festa (and Herrin). Well, our bullpen is definitely in flux thanks to extremely moronic decisions, but if any crew can bounce back from fracture, ours can. I trust in Carl Willis and the bullpen boys.

Well I wasn’t sure about a minor league blurb but I just saw that Jhonk🎄 hit a 442 ft bomb. So that’s cool. Earlier today, Bazzana🍌 continued his triumphant return from injury by going 2/4, scoring twice, and helping lead Akron to a 5-1 victory. Joe Lampe🕯️ had a great day, going 2/4 with a double and home run.

  2. YOU GET A HIT! YOU GET A HIT! EVERYONE GETS A HIT! Nice bounce back. LFG GUARDS! THE 56 GAME WIN STREAK HAS STARTED!

  3. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GAME BY A BEAUTIFUL TEAM. SURELY NOTHING BAD COULD BEFALL SUCH A TEAM. ALL GOOD VIBES HERE. GOODNIGHT.

  4. Let’s get the series!!! Great effort tonight boys. I’m feeling much better today than I did yesterday.

  5. TWO MORE SLUMBERS BEFORE I CAN STOP SLEEPING WITH ONE EYE OPEN. ROAD TO .500 HAS NEVER BEEN CLOSER

  6. Back in the Win column. Let’s do this again and win the series tomorrow.

Also Manzardo better be in the lineup again tomorrow.

  7. three things that made me smile after a stressful day:

    1) we won!

    2) Hosey’s strut being his default walking motion

    3) Manzo being freaked out by the echo in the stadium

we were all due some happiness after yesterday 😬

  8. Manzo might have close to 30 HR if he played more. I honestly have never seen a coach not play their talent like we have with this guy. For a team historically unable to get lucky on power hitting prospects or develop them, we sure are pissing away the one we do have

  9. Vogt about to show all of us dumb redditors who’s boss tomorrow by sitting Kyle vs a LHP. Guarantee it lol.

  10. I missed the question that made Vogt ask if we’re still on camera and “l’ll tell you after”. What was asked?!

  11. Uhh…Vogt…why you gotta be cryptic like that in the post game?!

Also, amazing for Zach to have a mic and finally be able to hear the reporter questions.

  12. I have a feeling the 113 pitch night will be the last by Allen for the Guardians. Similar when Vogt put Clase in both double-header games, he is maximizing his pitchers before being shipped out (or in Clase’s case suspended). Just a wild assumption.
