I read the headline and I really thought it was going to be a story about dissatisfaction with the NFL due to politically motivated name changes

In all seriousness. I hope we find a path to an exciting hard hitting sport, with veterans of it living at their lives with dignity, support and manageable health.
Surely it is as possible.

It’s been fascinating watching the response to the shooter. Most people hear and have the same exhausted response to shootings, then they find out he had cte and tried to get to the NFL office, and suddenly it’s “oh that makes sense.”
I’m at least happy most of us agree that the nfl is still massively fucking up its response to CTE. It’s hard to have the same level of sympathy when they so directly contributed to this.

Turns out he went in to get the CEO of Blackstone. NFL doesn’t even have an office in that building. Eric Adam’s straight up lied.
