Zach Lowe discusses Anthony Black

  1. It won’t let me add text for some reason so he starts talking about him at 39:19

  2. He doesn’t get the ball much not because of Paolo and Franz, but because he hasnt been very effective when he does.

He’s still very young, but right now i cant really see him being that dynamic playmaker. I think he’ll play really well with Jones. I think Jones will be good. I think TDS will be much better next season. I think if Isaac can lose the weight and give us 23-24 production he’s the most impactful player off the bench. Hopefully Mo comes back at some point plays like he did last season. If Isaac and Mo can do that, we have a great bench.

  3. Other guy wanted to start Tyus over Suggs

The media been ignoring us and will be in for a surprise

  4. The impression that I get from AB is that he’s young but he’s paying a lot of attention. Having Tyus and Shammgod all summer with him is a huge opportunity. TDS getting Summer League action + getting to play Eurobasket with Franz and his brother, that’s a huge opportunity.

  5. Zach is spot on. Suggs has a lot of the tools to be great. I’m not going to wait on his shooting, but he has enough elite athleticism to be an above average offensive player now. We’ve seen it. I think that’s my bigger hope this year, is more consistency. We peak and valley with him too much. One game he looks great and gets 20pts off the bench and we’re screaming for him to start, the next week, he’s non existent. If we can flatten out that line of production to something we can count on night in and night out, we’ll be much better this year.

  6. Kawhi cp3 hanging out with AB this summer. Gonna be cinema next season

  7. I understand Tim’s suggestion to start Tyus, we’ve been so desperate for shooting and more playmaking, and Tyus helps with both… but so do Suggs and Bane, while being plus defenders. Tyus was often played off the floor of late game situations in Phoenix because he’s too vulnerable on defense.
