One of the best BIG plays I’ve seen at camp #nfl #seahawks #seattleseahawks #trainingcamp

We’ve been talking about it. I talked about it this morning. Where are the deep throws going to come from? Is this offense going to have a vertical aspect? Are they just going to be a horizontal kind of separation team? Sure enough, today a lot of vertical throws. Um, and then this first one went to Jackson Smith and Jigba. 30 yards down the field on the left sideline. He beat Josh, made a great catch. It was a beautiful throw from Sam Darnold. Uh, one of the the best big plays I’ve seen so far in camp. Um, the next play after that, uh, they hand it off on an inside um, counter play to Zack Charbanet. Gray Zable was the run one leading the counter and absolutely blew open the hole. Um, next play after that, Sam Darnold throws a quick swing pass to Cooper Cup for another seven, eight yards. It was just like very productive uh early session for the offense and for Sam Darnold’s crew.

  1. A running offenses best weapon is the deep ball off of play action. That was Pete's philosophy in the early years, and it brought us a Superbowl. You just need a quality O-line.
