Franchise QB

  1. Herbert is on his third coach. Everybody else in the graphic is on their first.

It’s a team sport, and foundation is important.

  2. This used to be said about Stafford, even some miserable Lions fans hated on him.

  3. I’m so tired of this take. Herbert is top 10-12, potential to be top 5. He’s struggled in big moments, but his defense has been bottom 10 3-times in the last 5 years and cost him multiple games that he already had the GWD. Hes also had the 2 most injury prone WRs in the NFL in addition to the most wide open deep threat with the worst hands I can remember in QJ. Hes the closest to the new Stafford we have in this league and I’m excited to see what he does in year two with a real coach.

  4. There are people who put herbert above hurts and uh ya know, that’s just like their opinion man, but look at dat

  5. It’s worth pointing out that Herbert plays against Mahomes twice per year because they are in the same division, which is obviously going to affect any QBs stats against “playoff teams”.

  6. Jokes aside, I can’t think of one signature Herbert win. I think he’s only beaten the Chiefs once and that was years ago

  7. Herbert is nowhere near top 5. And never was and never will be. He’s the most overrated QB in the league. He’s not trash but he’s also not anywhere close to top 5. He’s not even top 5 in the afc (Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Stroud) let alone the league.

  8. The difference: 3 of the 5 qbs above have WRs and/ or a running game. Herbert has rookies/ 2nd year guys at all skill positions.
