Dillon Brooks Era was… Funny may be a Good way to Describe it

I’ll never forget that lakers series when Dillon brooks was calling Lebron too old and that he doesn’t respect anyone until they give him 40… and then Lebron took over that series 🤦🏽♂️ 😆😆
That Lakers playoff series made it perfectly clear that Jenkins had lost control of the team. He deferred too much to the players to establish a team culture and it enabled Ja to run problematic side quests while Dillon tried punching up into a whole other weight class.
I hated to see Dillon go on such bad terms, but they needed to make an example of someone and he was the easiest choice, especially considering his contract was up. In hindsight, though, the real problem was Jenkins. Here’s hoping Iisalo can correct course.
That series is why I fucking hate the Lakers and their vermin fanbase.
you can talk about losing to the lob city clips in 7. you can talk about being swept by SAS in the WCF, but this Lakers series was some of the darkest times of my grizz fandom.
