Same reason people stay in toxic relationships, Sac/LV bootlickers think they “can fix him” and that “he’ll really change this time” when everyone else has dumped his ass.
The “mods” at the Sac sub is basically one whiny bitch who hates Oakland. Which is why it’s so annoying some users in this sub expect us to move over there if we’re guna still be fans but whatever. I guess A’s fans are just doomed to be hated by their own owner, the MLB, and their fellow former fans. Fun times 🤙

Nobody in that sub is a John Fisher fan. They’re just A’s fans that hope Vegas falls through and the team stays in Nor Cal.
My teams are my teams. I’m an Athletics fan and a Raiders fan, both of which have had a really rough decade or more. Just because an owner is terrible, there is a bad coach, or bad players, doesn’t mean that I am going to stop being a fan of the team. These are my teams, in good times and bad times. That’s what being a fan is all about.

Was reading today about costs rising from 1.5B to 1.75B and now 2B. Fisher on the hook for all the overrun costs. The entire family net worth is 8B. While that’s 8B more than I have – I can’t see the family wanting to dip into the reserves too far. He’s such a tool.
Take the team away from this assclown, sell it to Lacob so he can bring them home, and give Vegas an expansion team with a decent owner. Everybody wins.
You guys act like teams don’t move. Yes, it sucks. Yes, we’re upset. Yes, FJF. But that’s our team man, no matter who the owner is or where they play. Either support our boys or don’t, but you don’t have to hate on people who choose to continue supporting the team.

So apparently Oakland was $100 million short for Fisher’s Howard Terminal project, yet this is $500 million (and growing) over the original budget. What a lousy businessman. Tiny ballpark on 9 acres he doesn’t even own. Mostly luxury seating probably, outpricing the average fan.
