And it’s one- nothing. Stand two for nine in this series. Drill deep to left field. There it goes. See youa into the left field bleachers. A moonshot by Stanton. It’s three nothing Yanks. [Applause] And down goes Josh Low. Highf fly ball. The wind holds that one up as Dominguez has to come in to get it. And that’ll do it. Driven out to deep right field. Bar Go see youa into the Yankee bullpen. A threerun blast and the Yankees lead 6 nothing. [Music] And down goes Walls. And that’s a base hit through the right side for Dominguez. Chisum will go to third. There’s Austin Slater. Dominguez with 16 stolen bases. Ground ball third double clutch. There’s one on the first. Not in time. That allows Chisum to score and it’s 7 nothing Yankees as Slater picks up his first Yankee ribby. That’s a base hit to right field. Lao scores. Morell will stop at third. The throw comes all the way home. RBI single for Aronda. And it’s 71 Yanks. That one lost by Dominguez. Backpedaling and he finds the ball and makes the catch. Tagging Morell. He’ll score. It’s a sack fly for Camro. Second run for the Rays. Remaining just a bit. Can’t tell right now. There’s a ground ball and pass to diving Colby into left center field. That’ll score low. It’s a base hit for Duca. Third run for the Rays. It’s 73 Yanks. That one is looped to right field. That is going to dunk in there for a base hit. And Duca will score. Walls is going for two. And he’s going to make it with an RBI double. And the Rays chipping away. The Yankee lead is now just three. Grounded to second. There’s one onto first. Double play. They double up Morel. Rain coming down. They are calling for the tarp. Yankees lead this one 74. Runners on first and third with one man out. Ground ball to short. There’s one on the first. It’s a double play. So Montgomery gets out of the jam. 643. We played five at the stadium. Yankees lead by three. Duca 1 for two RBI single. He swings and misses on the change. David Santos has nice stuff. Well, the Yankees, according to Jack Curry, have just made a deal. And it’s funny because the guy’s playing first base. The Yankees have acquired Jos Cabayro from the Rays for Everson Pereira and a player to be named later. So, Cabierro will be pulled from this game. He will only have to walk from the third base side to the first base side to meet his new team. He’s tied for the major league league with 34 stolen bases. Walls goes down on strikes. Yeah, he’s being told 0 and two on Forez. Swing and a miss. De Los Santos strikes out the side. Swing and a miss. Morell down on strike. [Applause] [Music] Swing and a miss. A long busy day for the Yankees as they win this one 74. They remake their bullpen and now they go into the rest of the season, the final third of the season with a completely different look out in the [Music] [Applause] [Music] count. [Music]

  1. The Yankees made good trades, but in all reality they should have gotten a top of the rotation starter. pitching is what wins a World Series.

  2. I'm waiting for the day a player retreats into the road locker room, and emerges in the home dugout in a different uniform. Must be weird af to get traded mid-game – to your opponent.

  10. I got a lot to say, but I'll condense

    Today's win was awesome. After weeks of sucking, the Bombers finally looked really good. I hope this Schneid Is over and they can get into the mix for the penant and WS.

    on Cashman… I graded him off-season at A- With the lack of 3B the reason for the minus

    Well I gave Cash too much credit (that's a great pun and I didn't intend it!) He should have gotten a B- For the off-season

    I think the Yanks are gonna be very improved, but let them play it out.

    I gotta be fair about 1 thing – the BP. the Bullpen imploded and I don't think it's fair to blame cash nor Boone. Who knew Loisiga D Williams and Weaver would struggle so much this year? On paper the BP was much better than the results..

    I give Cash credit for really bulking the BP back up

    If GIL comes back strong then the starting staff will be very, very good

    All around, the Yanks are very young athletic with hustle. true Goldschmidt is aging but he runs the bases very well. Jasson D has great speed. So do Jazz and volpe. Volpe just needs a hypnotherapist to straighten our his fielding/throwing yips 😄😄

    It's been bad but im not giving up cause cash did good work – now Boone has got to keep them focused – and not slip up like Welles forgetting how many outs. They need focus!
