Pittsburgh Pirates CRUMBLE in Crushing 17-16 Loss to Rockies

I can’t believe what I just witnessed. I can’t believe what I just witnessed. The Pirates just lost to the Colorado Rockies 17-6 in walk-off fashion. Hi, this is Gary from Locked on Pirates. What a roller coaster of emotion it has been. First, the trade deadline was pretty bad here. And then, you know, you go into this game and your team comes out the gates and they’re just abusing Colorado pitching and they’re scoring runs. I first inning they scored nine runs. They sent 14 guys to the plate. This was a route, an easy route. And plus, man, we pitch. Wow. And then the Rockies just chipped away. They kept chipping away. And the Pirates added all the way to a pretty comfy 16-9 lead at one point. And then Dennis Santana comes on to try to close out his first game post David Bedar and blows it. I understand Bedar did the same thing in New York, but I take no comfort in this. More on this Monday morning on Locked on Pirates.

  1. Pretty insane but a very uncharacteristic game from both teams. Or on point considering both are bad teams and struggle to hold a lead

  2. It was always gunna happen after that 6th inning these so called “pros” cant even hit a ball baseball is the definition of s coin toss with the exception of the rockies who will talk about this game until baseball soon ceases to exist as the only other thing u can say about them is they are literally the worst team in the history of the game
