Cris Carter & John Randle Surprise Justin Jefferson with Chain for Madden 99 Club

All right, you guys know this. Um, since I got this job, I talk a lot about it. Um, Vikings legends, guys that have been, uh, in the very chairs that you guys have been in. We’ve got an unbelievable history going back a long way in this organization, uh, of some phenomenal teams, uh, coaches, uh, for sure players. Uh, we’ve got Jared Allen going in the Hall of Fame this year, uh, coming up here, uh, really next, uh, next Saturday, I believe. Jared’s going in. Um, but uh two of the guys that maybe mean as much to any to go uh right along with Jim Marshall who passed away uh this year who were honoring. If you see that number 70 out on the practice field, it’s for all of us to see that greatest captain in the history of the National Football League. U two guys that have meant a lot to me since I got this job. Uh Chris Carter and John Randall. is these guys wanted to come by and uh present one of you guys with something uh that is becoming kind of a yearly occurrence. But I’ll let you guys take it away. Mr. Chris Carter and Johnny Randle. Give it up for these guys. What up, baby? Thank you, coach. A guy that’s been very, very successful in his career. First time preeason. We come in with the Madden ratings. JJ 99, one of seven players, Justin Jefferson. We got a little a little gift for you. Turn it around. Let’s check it out. [Applause] Come on down. [Applause] Yeah. Yeah. He can put it with the rest of the diamonds. Just to let you guys know what a small world it is. 5 years ago, I’m one of the mentors for the NFL combine. I have 44 wide receivers. JJ’s in my group. Male Kyper, everybody got him ranked fifth, sixth, best receiver. Me and JJ had a talk, right? Let history take care of itself. He failed, fail fail. We draft them. Now we have them. This how you win games with great players coming all together for the common good.
