  1. Miller knows he’s got a defense and fanbase behind him and he’s not pitching in a pathetic minor league dump. Dude is hyped and going to unlock another gear I feel

  2. Someone get this kid a carne asada burrito, he earned it!! Welcome to s.d. Mason!!!

  3. Get used to it, man! You keep throwing gas, we’ll keep bringing it in the stands.

  4. I cant imagine what that feeling even is like. I would have a panic attack and die, lol

  5. I’m so excited and happy for him! I have a feeling he will thrive with Reuben’s coaching and our pumped up environment.

  6. 1st appearance. Just about 24 hours after the trade. Massive crowd behind him for the first time in his pro career. Superstar 3B misses a grounder. Honestly good on him for staying focused and getting the outs he needed.

  7. Must feel like going from triple A to Major Leagues all over again, no fans, to a roaring stadium.

  8. I watched the game on tv, and it appeared that the crowd was not as loud as late last season . As long as they are in the playoff race, he’s going to experience the best fan base soon, especially if he comes in to close out a game.

  9. Hoping he can develop a change up over the offseason as well. He does have one of the best to ever do it in the front office.

  10. I live in Sacramento and have seen this guy pitch for the A’s and instantly loved him. I planed a trip to watch the Padres this weekend in SD and to find out he was traded to the Padres just a day before and then made his debut last night was truly unreal. I was losing my mind seeing this guy get the reception from the fans he deserves and getting to see him throw absolute bombs from the mound for my favorite team was emotional. This guys is a dawg.
