Good to know I can bring my food tomorrow. They’re not getting me for TWO $7 hot dogs. Checkmate, BMS.
I wasn’t able to tune in. How many people showed up and how long did the delay last until they suspended the game?
I was starting to feel bad for fans who bought tickets, but then I remembered that they bought tickets for a baseball game at a speedway.
Considering everyone drove from out of town to this game, many of them from likely far away, and aren’t coming back, I bet they just throw the gates open and make it general admission. If there’s no concessions and they’ve basically made all the money they can make from the other sources, they’ll probably just let anyone in.
Weird a facility that’s used to dealing with well over 100,000 people would have issues with concessions.
I hope they make a 30For30 about this mess
I know people clown on this game, but I really hope they continue to do stuff like this despite the failure. Its pointless fun, and that’s where baseball is at its best, in my opinion.
The Fyre Festival of baseball games
Fun fact. The allowable bag will fit a whole costco pizza.
This was a train wreck from the start
Please never, ever, ever do this again. Baseball should be played in a baseball stadium, not a race track.
Why can’t they choose a venue that never rains?
American or national league?
I live in the area and had never been to a baseball game other than little league and debating on whether I go tomorrow to get my “money’s worth”….I’ll probably never be to one again.
I too had to pour my water out of my water bottle, then got cussed at when questioning how people were bringing in clear backpacks much larger than what they listed as allowed on the website. Also, HOLY CRAP I didn’t realize they charged that much for food. My seat cushion got stolen while going to the bathroom and lastly, the bathrooms have no dividers between urinals and I got pissed on by a drunk guy. What a shitshow.
I guess that answers my question about the spaghetti policy.
Do most MLB stadiums NOT allow outside food? I live in New York so 95% of the games I’ve been to in my life are at Yankee Stadium, where they let you bring any food, just not alcohol or cans/glass bottles.
Yeah, NASCAR concessions aren’t meant for the whole 100k at the race. NASCAR expects you to BYOB and food. Honestly can’t believe SMI and the MLB didn’t originally allow fans to bring coolers.
It happens. If this were a game in ATL they wouldn’t have even bothered to try.
Rule number 1: Don’t talk about Fight Club
Rule number 2: Don’t fuck with the baseball Gods with your gimmicks
