[Caswell] JP Sears will start for the Padres on Monday vs DBacks 7 comments Let Niebla cook. Padres have control for 3 more seasons after ’25. Let’s go JP big man You can count on Sears, Sears has everything. And at least he won’t have to face those big hitters they traded off. Bad news being they’ll be waiting for us in Seattle at the end of the month. 7-9 this year, 11-13 last, on a bad team isn’t horrible. Hopefully Niebla can get a bit more out of him. I don’t expect too much. Just a serviceable guy in the back of the rotation who gives us a chance. 4.99 ERA, but a 4.03 xERA. Also, still not great, but much better away from Sacramento (Fuck John Fisher and Fuck Dean Spanos) I think Niebla can turn him into a really solid backend piece I live in Sacramento and have been watching him pitch all year. This is a really solid pickup. Im excited to have him as part of the rotation. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
